At this moment, in the gem-like blue sky, white cranes danced gracefully, and birds sang happily; in the vast wilderness, the grasses became more green, and the flower buds bloomed one after another...
Sakyamuni Buddha took off the golden cassock from his body and put it on Kassapa.
This golden cassock is the symbol of the Dharma King.
The Buddha earnestly told Kassapa: "You have to wait until Maitreya Buddha is born to teach this golden cassock to him."
Many years after the Buddha Sakyamuni entered Nirvana, Kassapa's life destiny had also come to an end. He passed on the Zen teachings to Venerable Ananda, and then came alone to the foothills of the Himalayas in North India, and came to a rock wall named "Chicken Foot Mountain" because its shape resembles chicken feet.
Mahakasyapa took out the golden cassock given to him by his master Sakyamuni himself and held it in his hand.
He smiled and stood quietly facing the wall, entering into a magical meditation - cessation of cessation - the meditation used by the saints to rest completely.

After experiencing natural disasters such as earth, water, fire, and wind, as well as man-made disasters such as famine, war, and killings, people finally realized that only by eradicating evil from their own souls and practicing the ten good deeds can society be harmonious and beautiful. Only in this way can we obtain true happiness and well-being. So, after countless generations of hard work, the era of Maitreya Buddha Kingdom finally arrived.
At that time, the area of the ocean had decreased, and the entire land was as smooth as glass, with various flowers growing: Utanbo flowers, big golden leaf flowers, Qibao leaf flowers, silver leaf flowers...
These flowers and leaves are soft, shaped like heavenly strings, and colorful. The forest trees are tall and lush, and the auspicious fruits they bear are sweet and wonderful, with a fragrant aroma.
The people of that era were all reincarnated by those who planted good roots and practiced compassion during the Dharma, Immortal Dharma, and Dharma-Ending Era of Sakyamuni Buddha.
Therefore, they are wise, noble, kind-hearted, full of compassion, and humble in speech.
People respect each other and live in harmony, like a son loving his father, like a mother loving her daughter. This is all because of Maitreya's compassionate teachings, which require everyone to observe the precept not to kill or eat animal flesh.
They have a calm demeanor, dignified appearance, solemn and sacred like heavenly beings.
They are happy and comfortable, free from cold, heat, wind, fire and other diseases, as well as all kinds of troubles and pains, and their life span is as long as 84,000 years.
They enjoy excellent health every day, take pleasure in practicing various kinds of meditation, and everyone has developed bodhicitta.
There are only two things they need to do: one is to eat and the other is to defecate. The only worry is aging.
The capital city at that time was called "Jitoumo" and was thousands of miles wide.
The buildings in the city are all pavilions made of seven treasures. They are exquisite and wonderful, with various forms and exquisite structures.
The walls are covered with a network of treasures, with various gemstones inlaid and connected in series, like hanging bells, and the sound is like heavenly music.
In the city's gardens, springs are gushing and rivers are criss-crossing. The clear spring water flows quietly and sparkles with sparkling waves...
There was a great dragon king named "Da Luo Shi Qi", and the dragon pond where he lived was near the capital. Every night, he transforms into a human in the middle of the night, fills auspicious bottles with fragrant water, and spreads it gently over the city, drowning the dust and moistening the land.
Therefore, there is no dust from pedestrians and vehicles, and the streets and lanes are very clean, just like a pastoral.
There are light pillars made of luminous pearls everywhere on the streets of the city. The light is so bright that it is the same day and night.
In comparison, the light of all the original candles is like fireflies. Outside the city there are countless gold, silver, treasures, Mani beads, etc., piled up like mountains. The light radiated from the treasure mountain shines in the city.
There is a god who protects Winghead City day and night, so the land is safe. There has never been a fire or water disaster, a military disaster, or a robbery by thieves. Houses in cities and rural areas are not closed at night, and people live in peace.
When people want to be convenient, the land will automatically split open to cover up the excrement. Moreover, red lotus flowers will automatically grow in these places to absorb the dirt in the transformed soil.
If a person is old and dying, he will go to the mountains and trees by himself, and he will be peaceful and indifferent...
There are also many smaller cities scattered around the end of Winghead. Regardless of whether the people living there are far or near, there is no obstacle to seeing each other, their wishes come true, and they are happy.
All over the country, whether in cities or villages, there are dense gardens and clear springs. Swans, mandarin ducks, peacocks, parrots, magpies, wild geese, eagles, dove eagles... the birds in the air are singing, and their wonderful sounds are heard far and wide. The golden light flower, the worry-free pure wisdom flower, the bright white seven-scented flower...
Hundreds of thousands of aquatic and terrestrial flowers are in full bloom, with cyan light, yellow light, red light, and white light, extremely bright.
The brilliance of the luminous Ruyi Orb shines all over the world, and seven treasure flowers, golden lotus flowers, mandala flowers, manzhu sand flowers are falling in the sky...
There are Ruyi flowers, and their fruits are fragrant and sweet. The grain crops in the fields are free from natural disasters such as drought, floods, diseases and insect pests, and there are no weeds. Rice is harvested seven times a year, with little effort and a lot of harvest. The food melts in your mouth, is rich in flavor, fragrant and nutritious.
This was all due to the merit of the people of that era.
The wheel-turning holy king who was in charge of the country at that time was named "Rang Yong". He is wise and generous, and treats people like a mother and her children. His princes each dedicated their own treasures and built a tall and exquisite Qibao Platform in the square for people to visit freely. There are four huge treasures in their country, filled with rare and rare treasures, exuding brilliance.
Countless people come to visit, but they don’t have any greed in their hearts, and they abandon it like rubble, stone, and clods of earth. Because everyone understands that it is extremely stupid to not bring these external things with you during life and death, but to deceive and harm each other for them.
At this time, there was a highly respected Brahmin in the city named "Xiu Brahman", and his wife's name was "Brahma Bhatti". Maitreya Bodhisattva was entrusted to their home and took them as his parents.
When Maitreya was born, he was pure and untainted. His body was endowed with thirty-two phases of purple and gold, magnifying the light and shining in all directions. Its brilliance is bright and clear, and the brilliance of the sun, moon, stars, lamps and pearls is simply incomparable.
He has an upright appearance, majestic and holy, as if made of gold.
Maitreya is extremely intelligent. He observes the desires of the world. Suffering is empty and impermanent, which is the fundamental fault of all sentient beings suffering in reincarnation. Therefore, he is not happy at home and hopes to escape.
King Rangqi, his ministers, and the people dedicated the exquisite Seven Treasures Platform to Maitreya. Maitreya donated it to the people.
