Things in the world are sometimes really unpredictable, as if they have their own arrangements.

At this moment, Hui Neng, who was already the Sixth Patriarch, was standing in the Repaying Enlightenment Pagoda, with the pond next to his home appearing in front of his eyes.

The beautiful lotus flowers in the pond inspired him to come up with a classic sentence: "The heart is vast, just like the void. It has no edges, no square or circle, no green, yellow, red and white, no up or down, no anger or joy. There is nothing right and wrong, no head or tail. All Buddha lands are empty. The wonderful nature of people in the world is empty, and there is no way to get it; the self-nature is empty, and it is also like this." Later, this sutra was included in Fahai's " In the Sixth Patriarch’s Altar Sutra.

The mind is vast, so it is like space. There is no anger and no joy, so the self-nature is empty. Buddhism is also called Buddhism. The Buddha said: Don’t ask for another five hundred years. If you enter my Buddhism, you will have transcended Nirvana.

He thought: Pure Lotus, it is not that difficult to seek wisdom in the world. The most important thing is to have a soft heart. So soft that when we see a petal fall from a flower, we are moved and tremble, knowing its meaning.

When it rains, walking on the road, sometimes I shed tears unconsciously and feel sad in my heart.

Water has different properties. Isn’t the sadness in our hearts just like the rain from the sky?

There is all kinds of misery in the world, but after the rain, we often become clear people because of the cleansing of the rain.

From this, he thought of another scene: While riding, a small tornado knocked down a big tree on the roadside, and the big tree fell in the middle of the road. The horses on the road stopped abruptly in front of a fallen tree, unable to pass, so they could only turn back and turn to another passage.

The trees are alive, but the wind is ruthless. The tree that was knocked down by the tornado may have been the fault of the wind in the past life. The wind quietly dispersed after blowing down the tree. The result of cause and effect, the wind has the persistence of the wind. In this world, people can only seek unobstructed passages to move forward.

When a tree falls, all the lush life returns to the land that gave birth to it. Although the wind is not sentimental, the trees also do not complain. When conditions come, they go; when conditions gather, they disperse; when conditions arise, they arise; when conditions fall, they disappear. The relationship between the wind and the tree finally drifted away.

In the silent rain, I suddenly felt missing. I miss the people I once loved, and I miss the people I still love but can’t be by my side.

The Buddha once said: "Emotions are produced by past fate and present love, just like the lotus is conceived by water and soil."

Yes, the fate in the past is water, the love in this life is soil, and then the lotus of emotion blooms. If human emotions were like lotus flowers, they should not be contaminated in any way.

If you learn to miss, know how to miss, and cherish miss, the person you miss will turn into clear dew on the emotional lotus, shining with dazzling colors in the morning or dusk.

Missing is such a beautiful emotion! The most beautiful thing is to stand up in longing, see the turbulent love and persistence in this world, and understand the eternal impermanence and illusion of this world.

Only with a broad mind can we understand the way of the Bodhisattva, be filled with compassion for heaven and humanity in our thoughts, turn away the pain of thoughts, and gain a light that illuminates the world.

He thought: Before the Second Patriarch Huike was enlightened, his name was Shenguang. In order to show his determination to devote himself to Buddhism, he cut off his left arm with a knife and presented it to Bodhidharma. Bodhidharma then said to him: "Buddhas sacrifice their bodies and lives in order to seek the Dharma. You stand in the snow up to your waist and break your arm to seek the Dharma, which shows your sincerity. Tell me what troubles you have, and see if I can help you solve it." "

Shenguang then said: "My heart is not stable, please master, please reassure me."

Bodhidharma said: "Get rid of this uneasy mind, and I will calm it down for you."

Shenguang thought about where his heart was, searched for it for a long time, and said, "I can't find it." Bodhidharma said, "I have put your heart at ease."

So Bodhidharma named him Huike. Huike couldn't find his heart, but when he turned around, he finally realized something.

Being careless means having peace of mind. If your heart is not stable, it is better to abandon it first.

I had no intention. In fact, maybe there is no self in the world.

Thinking of this, Huineng looked at Houliang Village not far away and murmured to himself, "Yes, the troubles of the world are empty. If you can maintain a plain and undisturbed heart, your Buddha nature will be revealed immediately."

At this moment, Huineng was standing on the gratitude tower of Longshan Guoen Temple, leaning on the railing and looking into the distance, but his thoughts stopped at the lotus pond next to his house...

When the spring breeze blows away the years, it cannot blow away the lingering memories of him and Li Xiaolan;

As time goes by, it never goes back to the unforgettable time when he and Li Xiaolan were classmates in his father's school...

The crystal-clear figure of Li Xiaolan in his childhood flashed in his mind all the time, telling endless lovesickness and arousing so many memories——

Ah, Sister Alan, do you know? You had already left an indelible mark on the young mind of Brother Aneng at that time.

Hello, lovely Xiaolan. At that time, your brother Aneng and your father were studying essays in the school, so that your brother Aneng, who had not yet been enlightened, opened his mind under the influence of your spiritual energy...

It is your compelling aura that gives you endless inspiration and inspires infinite wisdom;

It was your compelling aura that gave you, Aneng, the ability to remember everything, and later you became the Sixth Patriarch...

Recalling this unforgettable childhood time, Huineng's thoughts are like the waves in the sea rising...

In the hazy rainy season, Xiaolan is just like a little white lotus, just like the round leaves, covered with crystal raindrops, like pearls, reflecting the light and clean face of the little white lotus, shining like water in the moonlight In the dark night, it quietly touched the eyes of the Sixth Patriarch.

As the years went by, he fell more and more in love with the clear jade face in the pool of blue waves. In the charm of the lotus, he seemed to have realized the true meaning of life:

Let the sadness fade away, let the years be quiet, and live in peace for the rest of your life. As the saying goes: Seeing the lotus flower is pure, one should know that it will not contaminate the mind.

Buddha said: Calmness means calmness. In the wind and moon of the world, don't forget your original intention. When you are in the mood of admiring flowers, you can always be calm and at peace.

Being able to spend time with your loved one in the summer when the breeze blows across your cheeks, frogs are chirping and cicadas are chirping, and you can listen to the sound of fish playing with green lotuses in the warm sunshine of June. Those who can wait for the flowers to bloom and gaze at the flowers to fall together are all deeply connected...

Those who are destined, please forgive while cherishing, please cherish while forgiving. In the beautiful moment, you can understand the hurried passing, gathering and separation of the years. Let the past, like smoke, settle in the reincarnation. In the Zen of a lotus, flowers bloom, the moon is quiet, the days grow long, and finally, the years are fragrant.

After all, Huineng was a man who had experienced ups and downs. He did not want to lament the bitterness of life and let any trace of resentment spread in the passage of time.

He hoped that the white lotus in his heart would freeze for a lifetime of peace in the moment of perfection. In the blooming season, people forget the sadness of withering. In this bustling and noisy summer, the lotus floats frivolously among the round leaves, listening to the soft hum of the waves, as if the longing for a peaceful life is rippling in my heart by the breeze blowing by the lotus pond.

Huineng said silently in his heart: Let the tranquility of the lotus infect my thoughts. In the passing years, I lower my eyebrows and gaze at the elegance of a flower. In the quiet years, let me understand the beauty of a flower. Ye's world blooms with a unique tenderness in a different mood. Just let me meet and forget lightly in my own world. In the passing years, understand the fireworks, the passing years, the mortal world, and the vicissitudes of life.

Who said that one can understand Lian's pride? In the waves, one can discover that lonely and proud soul. From between a lotus leaf, a green and white bud stands upright. In a touch of tenderness, it breeds full of deep feelings.

Lian Ruren's mood is also lonely, weak and gloomy. But as time goes by, I am willing to become the throne in front of the Buddha, and listen to the Sanskrit Buddha's words in solitude.
