That was four years ago.
Yiyi was also very weak at the time. After swallowing a life-extending pill, Yang Zhen used her spiritual consciousness to see the skills inside the wood carving.
One is [Five Elements Body Strengthening Technique], and the other is [Five Elements Mending Heaven Sutra].
At that time, Yang Zhen had no cultivation at all, and the only thing she could practice was the "Five Elements Body Training Technique" for mortals.
This exercise helped him greatly. Until now, he has been practicing and his body is getting stronger.
The other one, he remembered, was about how to use the spiritual energy of the five elements for spiritual practice. But at that time, his spiritual roots had not yet materialized, so this book was of no use to him.
But now, it should be possible to practice, right?
You should at least take a look and see if it is of any use to you.
The Body Strengthening Technique is already so extraordinary, this Tian Mending Sutra might give me an even bigger surprise.
He decided to ask the little thing for help.
Yang Zhen twisted the wooden carving with her fingers and looked at it carefully while telling Yiyi her request.
"Yiyi," he suddenly remembered something: "Why can this wood carving store ancient books?"
In the world of immortality, the props used to store classics or a monk's spiritual thoughts are usually jade slips.
"This is peach jade, which is a variant of peach wood. Its function is the same as that of jade slips. It can record the thoughts of exercises!"
"However," the little thing continued: "Unless there is a special method, no matter how you use your spiritual consciousness to observe it, you will only think that this is an ordinary piece of peach wood!"
"So magical?" Yang Zhen said in surprise: "In other words, if I use this peach wood to make records in the future, it will be difficult for others to find it?"
"Yes!" The little thing affirmed: "Peach jade is very rare, and most people don't know it at all. So, the ancestor of your Yang family is an amazing person!"
As he spoke, Yiyi had already stretched out its stems and hooked Yang Zhen and the peach and jade wood carving.
The familiar feeling came again, and Yang Zhen once again saw these two books of exercises floating in the air.
He directly skipped the [Body Strengthening Technique] and focused on the [Five Elements Mending Heaven Sutra].
The book was opened page by page.
Yang Zhen calmed down and studied it carefully.
While reading, he was suddenly startled.
Eighty meridians!
There are actually eighty meridians in each human body that can circulate spiritual energy!
This is different from what is described in [Yunxiao Qi Jue]!
In this sect's technique, there are only sixteen meridians in the human body that can circulate spiritual energy.
According to the difficulty of clearing the barrier and their respective special functions, it is divided into three stages: human, earth and heaven, with four, five and seven meridians respectively.
However, this [Tianbu Jing] clearly informs that there are eighty meridians in the human body!
The so-called sixteen meridians are just one of the attributes.
When a monk uses his most advantageous spiritual root, such as the wood spiritual root, to absorb spiritual energy.
These wood spiritual energy, the meridians opened up in the human body, are actually only the wood attribute.
Each attribute of the five elements actually has sixteen meridians, for a total of eighty.
It's just that the other meridians are like the stars disappearing under the bright moon, hidden deep in the body, making it extremely difficult to detect them, let alone open them up.
Yang Zhen fell into deep thought. What are the benefits of eighty meridians compared to sixteen?
He continued reading, and soon his eyes shone with surprise.
The benefits are really great.
…
First of all, the size of the Dantian in a monk's body and the amount of mana it can store are closely related to the number and size of its meridians.
For example, at the first level of Qi training, a novice practitioner has opened four meridians and only has one hundred strands of spiritual energy stored in his Dantian.
At the third level of Qi training, the four meridians expanded to four times their original size, and the size of the Dantian was also four times its initial size.
After entering the middle stage of Qi training, the monks opened up five new meridians, and at this time, the Dantian also increased to nine times its original size.
At the sixth level of Qi training, these nine meridians have expanded to eight times their original size, and the spiritual energy stored in the Dantian has also increased to 1,800 strands, which is eighteen times its original size.
At the seventh level of Qi training, the monks have opened up sixteen meridians, and the Dantian at this time is thirty-two times its initial size.
At the ninth level of Qi training, the meridians continued to expand, reaching sixteen times their original size, while the size of the Dantian was already sixty-four times its original size.
Finally, when the Qi training is complete, the meridians and Dantian will each double in size. Especially the Dantian, the stored spiritual energy has reached 12,800 strands, which is 128 times that of the first level of Qi training.
Every ten thousand strands is a drop. At this time, what the monk needs to do is to solidify these ten thousand strands of spiritual energy into a drop of spiritual liquid, thereby advancing to the foundation building stage.
Of course, this stage is still a bit far away for Yang Zhen at this time.
The above-mentioned process of step-by-step expansion of meridians and Dantian is also the practice path guided by [Yunxiao Qi Movement Jue].
It can be seen from this process that the size of the Dantian continues to expand with the number and size of the meridians.
This is the situation with sixteen meridians. What if there are thirty-two, forty-eight, or even eighty meridians?
That's right, the Dantian at this time will be twice, three times, or even five times that of ordinary monks in the same realm!
More importantly, the larger the Dantian is, the larger the condensed Golden elixir will be when it is promoted to the Golden elixir in the future, and the strength will increase tenfold!
This is just the first benefit.
Second, mana can also be stored in the meridians.
This understanding will be understood as long as the monks practice from the second level of Qi training to the second level of Qi training and reach perfection.
At this stage, the monk's four meridians will double in size.
How to expand?
There are two ways. One is to take Kaimai Dan to dissolve the medicinal power into the meridians, causing them to expand rapidly.
The advantage of doing this is that it is fast and you can get through this stage within a day or two, which greatly saves time in practice. The disadvantage is that, just like taking the barrier-breaking pill, there is the possibility of damaging the meridians, which will ultimately affect the foundation.
The second method is to follow the guidance of [Yunxiao Qi Jue] and first fill the meridians with spiritual energy to make them complete and substantial.
The four meridians that have not yet expanded require exactly one hundred strands of spiritual energy to be filled.
Then, use the silent method of moisturizing things step by step. Each meridian only increases half a strand of spiritual energy every day, causing the meridians to slowly swell.
After fifty days of this, the spiritual energy increased to twice its original size, and the meridians also expanded to twice its original size.
Although this method takes longer, it has no consequences. Ninety-nine percent of the monks in the entire world of Xu Kingdom practice this way.
It can also be seen from the above that spiritual energy can be stored in the meridians.
If meridians with different attributes store spiritual energy with corresponding attributes, not only will they not put a burden on the meridians, but they can also slowly nourish the meridians, making them stronger and more supple.
This effect is even more obvious when fighting.
