So, what kind of life form will enter the six paths of reincarnation?
The answer is sentient beings.
According to Buddhism, reincarnation must first be sentient beings. Flowers, plants and trees are not sentient beings and do not have the eighth consciousness, alaya consciousness, so they cannot reincarnate because the main body of reincarnation is alaya consciousness.
Alaya consciousness is a Buddhist term and its explanation is very profound. I will try to be as simple as possible.
Buddhists believe that all sentient beings have eight consciousnesses.
The first six consciousnesses are: eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, and mind.
The seventh consciousness is called "mana consciousness". Some people say that this belongs to the category of subconscious mind. Simply put, the alaya consciousness records your actions, habits, and habits from life to life. The mana consciousness can sense these and extract them, allowing you to speak and do things according to the thinking habits and behavioral patterns in the record.
Because of the records of Alaya Consciousness, you will meet the people you should meet and do what you should do in this life.
Therefore, the fate between people may really be the result of looking back five hundred times in the past life, only to exchange for one passing by in this life.

Then the eighth consciousness is the alaya consciousness just mentioned. To put it simply, the alaya consciousness is like a huge information bank, storing all our memories of the past, present and future. These memories are like seeds, buried deep in our hearts, giving birth to every one of our actions and thoughts.
It is the root of the universe, and the consciousness of all sentient beings arises from here, so it is called original consciousness or true consciousness.
Alaya consciousness not only represents our own existence, but also reflects our knowledge and understanding of the world. In Buddhism, alaya consciousness is considered to be the fundamental driving force behind the reincarnation of all living beings.
Sentient beings have alaya consciousness, so they can reincarnate.
Heartless beings do not have alaya consciousness, so they cannot reincarnate.
Many people don’t understand what sentient beings are. To put it simply, all life forms born in these four ways of birth, viviparous, egg-born, wet-born, and metamorphic, are sentient beings.
Sentient beings have original awareness, emotional consciousness, and a certain degree of spirituality and emotion. Even very low-level insects, such as mosquitoes, have nervous systems, vision, smell, and perception systems.
Plants are heartless beings, but they are also living beings, but they are very low-level and do not have original consciousness and emotional consciousness. Moreover, according to many theories, plants have no soul and no alaya consciousness, so plants cannot enter the six paths of reincarnation and cannot enter the six realms of reincarnation. reincarnation.
But more and more research shows that plants actually have some slight sentience. They definitely have no soul, but there may be a trace amount of soul.
Therefore, ordinary vegetation has no soul, only a tiny part of it. With the aura of heaven and earth, and the essence of the sun and moon, it can be cultivated into essence over time, that is, the vegetation can become essence.

Jars, tables and chairs will never give birth to "spirits", and neither will cars or houses.
But there is a situation that can make these things have a certain degree of spirituality and awareness.
This spirituality and awareness are different from other kinds of awareness, and are called "attachment awareness".
To put it simply, it is because of the external magnetic field that these unconscious things have some spirituality.
For example, if you like an object very much, often play with it in your hands, and care for it very much, then this feeling will generate a magnetic field, or energy, which will be transferred to the object.
