As the name suggests, talismans are divided into innate talisman and acquired talisman, collectively referred to as "talisman".
Talismans originate from ancient times, when people worshiped the mysterious power from nature. On the basis of insect script and seal script, it uses unique characters, astrology, etc. and pictures and texts to imitate special clouds, birds and beasts, etc., and writes it on some special materials. It looks like Chinese characters and pictures, representing the gods. will and decree.
Let’s talk about the innate talisman first. According to legend, the innate talisman was formed by the ancient gods who understood the laws of heaven and earth. Taking the power of the sky, the sun, the moon, the clouds, the stars, it is a language and pictures that can communicate with the heaven and the earth. It belongs to the "Book of Heaven" with the same origin as the River Map, Luoshu, and Tai Chi Fish Map.
Taoists believe that symbols and characters have the same origin, and are both bound by the energy of nature. This is the method and way for humans to explore the universe, decipher the codes of the universe, and communicate directly with nature.
The Xiantian Talisman emphasizes the combination of mind and Qi, the combination of Qi and force, and the combination of force and heart. The pen moves like a dragon and a snake, blending into one. It is a concentrated expression of essence, energy, and spirit. What it uses is "Xiantian Yiqi."
But most of the talismans nowadays are actually acquired talismans, which are convenient methods left to later generations of disciples by those who later became successful in cultivating the Taoism.
The universe is born from Tao Qi, people are in Qi, and Qi is in people. In order to make it easier for their disciples to practice Taoism and avoid detours, these accomplished practitioners have, to a certain extent, gone from walking in the clouds to pray for rain, exorcising evil spirits and avoiding disasters, to inviting ghosts and gods. They have combined their own cultivation with the power of faith and thought to help their disciples communicate. Innate channels and bridges.
To put it simply, the Xiantian Talisman is a great cultivator and is used directly to communicate the energy of the universe.
The acquired talisman is a simple tool left to the descendants by those forerunners who succeeded in cultivating the Taoism. It can also be regarded as a bridge or a rope.
In fact, the innate talisman is also a bridge and a rope, but it connects the universe and the world and is the origin of all things.
The acquired talisman is connected to the ancestors who have achieved success in cultivation, and is connected to the way of the ancestors.
So you see why many talismans are based on ancestors and gods and ghosts. This means that they are acquired talismans.
Then, talisman often forms the same word as 瓓, and talisman is a unique culture of Taoism. It is used to express awe of ghosts, gods, natural things and other mysterious forces, and has a certain degree of mystery and worship.
"The talisman is the harmony of heaven, and the group of truths descends with the talisman." According to the Taoist scriptures, the talisman comes from the clouds in the sky. It naturally forms into a copy by the gods in the sky and then spreads it to the human world. Therefore, the talisman is also It is called "Yunzhuan Tianshu".
Talisman is considered to represent the power of gods, a token of communication with gods, and a code for communication with gods in the sky.
But the talisman cannot be drawn casually. There are certain rules in it. Taking the common Thirty-Six Marshals of Tianshi Dao as an example, each talisman represents a divine general. Used as an auxiliary spell, a natural divine power with superpowers. It can achieve the effects of attracting ghosts and gods, calming the five directions, curing diseases and repelling disasters, exorcising evil spirits and eliminating disasters.
But the Taoist "talisman" and "瓓" are not mixed into one.
"Charms" are used to summon gods and ghosts to suppress evil spirits. When encountering special circumstances, you can draw talismans to cast spells.
The "瓓" is like a military talisman. You can mobilize all the gods and ghosts recorded on the "瓓" when you perform magic and draw talismans. This can only be used by Taoist priests who have been taught the 瓓. If there is no talisman, but your master has given the 瓓, then you can also use the master's urn.
To put it simply, if you can only draw talismans but don't have a urn, it means you can't mobilize these gods and ghosts.
Only when the Taoist priests who have been taught the ritual have the power of law can they legitimately mobilize the gods and ghosts and become more powerful.
Of course, if you don't have a urn, it doesn't mean that you can't mobilize the gods and ghosts at all. If you have the cultivation level, you can also draw talismans to mobilize the gods and ghosts, but the power and effectiveness are different.
For example, if a Taoist priest draws talismans to mobilize the gods and ghosts, he is issuing an official document. The gods and ghosts must go after seeing the official document.
When other practitioners draw talismans to mobilize the gods and ghosts, it depends on your Dharma lineage, your level of cultivation, and the mood of the gods and ghosts.
Some people may say: I don’t have a urn, and I don’t have a legal function. I can just draw the talisman and it will still work.
There is nothing wrong with this at all, because each sect has different inheritance, and the gods and ghosts they invite are also different. Just like the talisman of Tianshi Dao, the thirty-sixth commander of the Lei Department is invited. If you don’t have the urn of Tianshi Dao, then you There is a high probability that the thirty-sixth commander of the Lei Department will not be hired.
But you can still invite other gods and ghosts, just like many Chuma Immortals can also draw talismans. They don't have a urn and rely on the power of the Immortal Family.
Some folk dharma lines do not have urns or legal positions, but they can still draw talismans. This depends on the different dharma lines, know-how, and methods of each sect, and cannot be generalized.
One more thing, to learn talismans, it is best to practice calligraphy.
Because according to the Taoist scriptures, "good writing" and "good teaching" are the minimum requirements for those who write scriptures and draw talismans.
Therefore, calligraphy attainment has become a necessary religious quality for an excellent Taoist priest. You see, many of the great calligraphers and writers in ancient times were actually Taoist priests. Even if they were not Taoist priests, they still advocated Taoism.
For example, Wang Xizhi, Yan Zhenqing, Wu Daozi, He Zhizhang, Li Bai, Su Shi...
Because if your handwriting is not correct and your writing is crooked, it means that you have not met the requirement of using books to enter Taoism, because words and pictures have the meaning of communicating with the gods.
The talisman you drew is ugly. It may not mean that the gods will not come, but the level and realm are much different.
Therefore, friends who want to enter Taoism and learn spells must practice calligraphy and lay the foundation for entering Taoism. At the same time, in calligraphy, you will also find strength and wisdom, and realize many true meanings of life.
I talked too much, my face felt hot, and I felt a little dizzy... let’s get back to the story.
Shen Xing said that when he entered the private room and met the manager, he discovered the problem.
This manager was actually a cultivator, otherwise he wouldn't have recognized the innate talisman at a glance, but Shen Xing clearly felt a strong demonic aura in him.
So Shen Xing showed his cards right on the spot, saying that I don't care what you are, and I don't care if you are sucking other people's energy here, but you can't do it all, let the girl live, and I will pretend that I didn't see it.
Otherwise, if something happens to that girl, something will definitely happen to you.
These words were very domineering. At that time, the manager was a little unsure about Shen Xing's origins, but he didn't give in. He tried and provoked: "Then let's see how much you have."
As a result, Shen Xing didn't tolerate him at all and invited Ling Guanye down on the spot.
Note that the invitation here does not mean upper body or anything, but directly invites the spirit official to come.
