In the high tower, Huikong, Saint Youping and Huixing woke up together. After a few people were in a daze, they finally saw clearly that they had returned to the tower.
Huiyuan and Huineng had already woken up first and were staring at the body of the Heart-Questing Pearl spinning endlessly on the mountain and river seal in front of them.
When they saw Huikong and the others waking up, they asked with concern while looking at Amitabha Buddha: "It seems that the physical calamity of this Wenxinzhu has passed. I wonder what is going on inside now? Is it still successful?"
Huikong and the other three looked at each other, and it was Huixing who was the first to answer: "We are ashamed that we were sent out without being able to answer the question about Wenxinzhu in the end."
The two of them shook their heads and consoled each other: "Junior brother, don't be humble. Senior brothers and others are even worse than you."
Huineng then sighed and said: "It's just that we tried our best. Although we didn't succeed in helping the Heart Beads overcome the tribulation, we still had a rich experience."
As the two of them were talking like this, they suddenly noticed that something was wrong with the expressions of the three of them, and they stopped talking in shock. Then I remembered that there was another person who had not come out from the Wenxin Dojo, and I couldn't help but look in the direction of Qian Yunsheng.
Saint Youping stared at Qian Yunsheng standing beside the Heart-Questing Bead as if standing still, and said with emotion:
"I didn't expect that there are so many of us, but we can't compare to a casual cultivator. I decided that after I go back this time, I will devote myself to worshiping the Buddha. If I achieve nothing, I will never leave the temple again."
Saint Youping's words also touched the hearts of several other people, and Huikong also sighed with emotion: "Thousands of lay people are indeed profound in their wisdom, and they can understand so many principles without a teacher."
Huixing was a little worried, he frowned and said:
"However, his simple theory of the Great Dao is actually a Taoist statement, but we see that he has great admiration for my Buddhist school. This man is both a Buddha and a Taoist. In my eyes, he is becoming more and more mysterious."
Saint Youping, on the other hand, disagreed with Huijian's idea and said, "What's so strange about this? I see obvious traces of Five Elements magic on his body, which means that his opportunity to enter Taoism came from Taoism."
"And he once said that it was after he traveled around that he came to our Western Region and began to recognize Buddhism more and more. In fact, it is an extremely natural thing to enter Buddhism from Taoism since ancient times."
"We all know how difficult the path of casual cultivation is, and I'm afraid it's not his choice at all how to enter the path."
"But the fact that he can still have the Buddha's heart in such a situation is exactly what makes him so wise. If he didn't have this bit of inspiration, I'm afraid he wouldn't be able to see the benefits of my Dharma."
After Saint Youping made this analysis, everyone nodded silently. After all, Qian Yunsheng was able to distinguish without hindrance and left a deep impression on everyone.
Huikong stood aside and listened silently, and said in his heart:
"So, with the variable of Qian Jushi, is it really possible for the Wenxin Pearl to escape the tribulation and create a chance of life from certain death? After all, the way of heaven always leaves people with a glimmer of hope. Could it be that this Qian Jushi is this Qin Xin Pearl? of life?"
Huikong's question drew everyone's attention back to Wenxinzhu.
Just listen to Huineng's deep analysis: "Whether it succeeds or not, I think we will see the difference soon. Although it is only a short moment here, it may not be certain that a long time has passed in the Questioning Heart Bead."
Huiyuan also echoed: "Although we don't know exactly what is happening in Wenxinzhu now, we might as well pray for Wenxinzhu and Qianju Shi together."
When Huiyuan said this, all the monks praised him for his kindness. So they formed a circle around Wen Xinzhu and Qian Yunsheng, and sat down one after another.
Saint Youping took out the incense burner again and lit it gently. Everyone chanted in unison amid the smoke:
"I would like to take this merit, solemn Buddhist Pure Land.
Repay four kinds of kindness to others, and relieve three kinds of hardships down the road.
He who witnesses it all shows empathy.
After completing this Sambhogakaya, we will live together in bliss and harmony."
As everyone was doing this slowly, they could see a trace of merit power being pulled out from everyone in the void and thrown towards the Heart-Questing Bead.
This is a Buddhist method of sacrificing oneself to help others. It uses the loss of one's own luck to bless the luck of others.
Although the matter of luck is elusive, no one knows whether the increase in luck will be of any help in overcoming the tribulation. But everyone thought it would be good to add a little more, so they all did so without hesitation.
Just when the mist of luck flew out from everyone's heads, twisting it into a thin thread as thick as wool, and wanted to throw it into the Heart-Questing Bead.
Suddenly, the entire Wenxin Pearl trembled with a "bang" sound, and finally a hole was blown out.
For a moment, the mist twisted into wool was like a group of frightened fish, and suddenly it dispersed into five strands, floating in the air. This mist is like a frightened deer, looking at Wenxinzhu, wondering what happened to Wenxinzhu.
The monks sitting below all frowned, but they knew that they could no longer be of any help to Wenxin Bead. Therefore, I had no choice but to chant the scriptures louder, secretly hoping that the Wenxin Bead could successfully overcome the calamity.
As for Wenxinzhu, following the violent fluctuation just now, a hole was opened in its body. Slowly, the fluctuation gradually began to fall back, like a receding tide that began to flow into the beads.
The huge sound just now seemed to appear suddenly and then disappear suddenly. If it weren't for the ugly scar-like hole on the Questioning Heart Bead that reminded everyone, it would have been as if the huge explosion just now was an illusion.
The five thin strands that had been frightened like a deer just now went out with this huge sound. This will regroup and once again reach towards the Questioning Heart Bead.
At this moment, a rather pure golden light suddenly shot out from the Questioning Heart Bead. The light was so dazzling that it even broke out of the broken top of the tower and shot straight into the sky.
The light was like the sun in an instant, coating the entire Xiaowan City with a layer of golden color.
On the Questioning Heart Bead, the phantom villain who appeared before appeared again. At this moment, it seemed to be sitting quite leisurely on the Heart-Questing Pearl, assuming a strange posture.
Its right leg was hanging naturally, while its left leg was padded under its right thigh. One hand raises to the sky, the other touches the ground.
Its expression is solemn, and its whole person is in a sitting posture. The corner of the mouth is like a smile, giving people a feeling of peace and tranquility without sadness or joy.
The monks were quite surprised when they saw the villain appear, and everyone couldn't help but want to ask if they had survived the calamity of their hearts.
But everyone looked at the villain as if he had no sense of external objects at all, and knew that it might have reached the most critical moment. Therefore, everyone silently endured it and continued to sit aside and chant sutras for the Wenxinzhu protector.
In Xiaowan City, the golden light came and went quickly. Just when the gold rose sharply, as if under some order, he took it back with a "swish".
In the palace, the man in comfortable robes stared in the direction of the tower without moving. Under his feet, Mr. Yin was lying on the ground with all four limbs, his body trembling non-stop.
The man raised his head, not looking at him at all, but staring in the direction of the tower.
When he saw a golden light spread out quickly on the other side of the tower, and then quickly retracted, he snorted lightly before looking down at Eunuch Yin.
He looked at Eunuch Yin prostrate on the ground with an expressionless face, and said coldly: "I don't know how the cultivation of my Ten Thousand Years Auspicious Land is going. Why don't you go take a look on my behalf and don't let them slack off!"
He spoke extremely calmly, as if he was explaining something very ordinary.
When Eunuch Yin heard this, he trembled even more.
He knew that his master, ostensibly asking him to see how his tomb was being repaired, was actually sending him away completely, so a sense of sadness arose in his heart.
He lay on the ground and tried hard to speak, trying to explain that the ghost cultivator was too powerful. But when the words came to his lips, they couldn't come out.
He hesitated for a long time, and had no choice but to struggle and said: "Master, you asked me to go and see Jirang. Should I go back after a visit? Or should I just stay there and supervise their complete repairs?"
The meaning of these words is extremely obvious, that is, he is praying to that man.
The man glanced coldly and said as if looking at a piece of disgusting old furniture: "Aren't you very capable? Don't you know what you should do?"
"Yes!" As if he had received a death sentence, Eunuch Yin's voice was trembling, and he became even more desperate.
He raised his face full of despair, ready to thank and retreat.
His appearance was all seen by the man. He suddenly lowered his head patiently, stared at Eunuch Yin's evasive eyes, and a cold breath burst out from between his teeth and said:
"Don't even think about escaping. You have to know that your family is all in my hands. Even your life is in my hands."
As he spoke, he raised his head again and looked at the tower in the distance, and continued to speak slowly:
"But don't say that I didn't give you a chance. In three years, if you can break through to the Nascent Soul realm in Jirang, come back and see me."
"Otherwise" the man's tone strengthened again, and Eunuch Yin's body began to tremble more and more.
He only felt words colder than ice stabbing into his soul. It was as if the man's voice was the only voice left in the world, slowly speaking:
"If you haven't succeeded after three years, I will personally extinguish your soul lamp."
