This is not arrogance, this is truth.
Lao Sao is a person who always knows what he is doing. The creation process of the fourth volume is very long, and it is often delayed. In addition to work issues, more time is spent on thinking, because this volume wants to express The theme is - trade-offs.
To be honest, I think some people already feel bad when they hear this topic.
But no matter what, in this book, this theme must be written, even if it is not popular, because if this theme is not made clear, then the internal factors of the protagonist group’s subsequent actions will be seriously insufficient, resulting in no success. Way to continue the plot.
When writing, Lao Sao chose to describe this point of view from the outside in. However, perhaps due to his poor writing skills, people sometimes saw the story in a cloudy and foggy way, and thus lacked some "refreshing points" in the plot.
From the perspective of online writing, this volume cannot actually be regarded as passing, but from the perspective of my personal creation, I did express what I wanted to express, including some foreshadowing left over from the first volume. After finishing, I felt relieved and happy.
So having said that, can the theme of "trade-offs" be described in a more fancy way?
OK.
I know what everyone wants to see is that something suddenly happened and Brother Tianran had to get together with Wen Liang again, which triggered the Shura field with Ai Qing. Brother Tianran was in a dilemma, coaxing this while Hanging on to the other one, he went to resolve the matter. Unexpectedly, another girl came, like a catfish, and got involved in the love triangle, and the situation became a stalemate.
Now, Brother Tianran obviously enjoys a lot of choices when it comes to making choices in this environment, and the plot sounds lively.
In fact, I also wrote this, but my own character jumped out and ended it with thunderous means.
Believe me, this is not the first time this has occurred during the writing of Volume 4.
This made me gradually realize a problem. As the plot develops, the characters in this book gradually become fuller and more three-dimensional. If I force the character to do something he doesn’t like, he won’t be willing to do it. Yes, it is very inconsistent.
This desire was so strong that I couldn't help but restrain the description a lot when designing the next plot.
But fortunately, all these problems have a conclusion and development in the last four chapters. The whole thing is settled smoothly, but at the cost of sacrificing part of the story, which makes some readers who like straightforwardness feel I was confused and smelled a hint of "unfinished" atmosphere.
I think it is unnecessary for the author to personally explain the plot. People may be confused about the timeline, or they may be angry about Brother Tianran’s choice. They may even be very dissatisfied with the second time travel, thinking that this It's the old coquettish guy doing the bad job.

Now it is the turn of the fourth volume, which can be regarded as completing the foreshadowing laid in the first three volumes. It should be filled in. The pitfalls have been filled, and the link between the past and the following has been established. Then in the following story, there will be no plot of "time travel", and the main line will obviously revolve around the "long-cherished wish".
Volumes 4, 5 and 6 are all chapters of the college volume. I have always planned them as a whole, and I have thought of the names very early. I believe you have also discovered that the names of my volumes are usually song titles, and they are also included in the text. Occasionally there are some lyrics, so a lot of the atmosphere design in the plot is also inspired by listening to the songs.
The fifth volume is called "Ru Yan", and its content is about fulfilling Wen Liang's long-cherished wish.
