The lake water condenses into a smooth mirror surface. The ubiquitous rain of purple blood came from both inside and outside, pouring towards it. The shore became bare at some point, and the excess dew, insects, dead branches, and the entire moss field were sucked into the lake. A moon passed across the sky and fell down.
The lake remains calm. The situation in front of me urgently needs a pair of eyes to see. And then: That’s too bad.
…
…
Norole opened her eyes in the water. She could see further in the water than on the shore. Luoyue Lake is like her home. Just like. But it was enough for her to cherish every rock, every lump of mud, and every wave.
But there was nothing familiar before her eyes. The water is thick and black and gray. It's like getting into the intestines of a shark. She wanted to float upwards for the first time, but surprisingly she couldn't find the right direction.
"My baby?" Norole was still in the water, singing in a low voice and swimming forward. The water slid smoothly over her skin. No obstacles. She could feel the power still flowing through her body. That kind of power that any living thing needs to respect.
Only she and nature need to be respected.
Even she has to respect nature. The water fairy stopped cautiously. The current location has long exceeded the boundary of Luoyue Lake. The lake was saltier than she knew. Suck the moisture from her lips. She still saw only rich gray.
energy. There are traces to follow. Very complicated. Need to distinguish.
Can't tell.
"Weili...Xiao?"
Norole paused for a moment.
"Leche. Come to me." She changed the name she called. Leche. No one will understand the bond between them. What is her daughter, who may be stronger than her in the future, doing? She had been with her for a while. I will be with her whenever needed in the future. But this little fry needs a larger pond for her to grow healthily. For example, a pond as big as the Source of Order. Their life span is very long. Longer than any doubt.
But now she needs her help.
They are connected by blood. It didn't take any divine power to make Leche feel this need. Norole waited silently. Until I heard a faint noise in the distance. She spun around and swam in the direction of the sound, knowing in her heart that what was coming was not what she was calling for.
She was not disappointed.
The noise gradually grew quieter. The smell of fish comes from the water. The kind of fish that is not food.
The turbid gray faintly revealed shadows to her.
"Jinbo." She moved her gills, making a crisp bouncing sound. The broad waves pushed forward, breaking the shadows into pieces. She watched the pieces tumble and disappear from sight.
"Come to me. My daughter."
The shadow emerged again. More than last time. It took shape as soon as she finished speaking. Surrounded on all sides.
"Zinbo."
fishy smell. Shadows disperse and reunite. There are almost no gaps. A hand was placed on the water fairy's arm. Only then did she realize. The hand was almost as warm as hers.
It was as if her own hands were holding her.
Like herself.
"Flash." The fluorescent light formed a ring above her head. Norole turned her arms over. Grab the elbow of that hand and pull it back. More hands grabbed her. But she didn't push them away like she first thought. The shadow's face approached her through the layers of rich gray. She blows away the mud and water, making the process happen faster.
"Sister," the face said to her. It was a face that could call her sister. Another water nymph.
"Sisters." Norole said. Other water fairies also came to her side. They all have similar faces.
They took her hand. Let her join the team.
The water suddenly became clear.
Norole raised his head and watched the stars' light coming down from above. Illuminating the figures of the water fairies. Their waists are light, their hair floats in the water, and their eyes are innocent and confused. A similar power surged through him. She didn't want to worry about who was stronger or weaker among them.
"do not worry."
They winked at her. "Your daughter is fine."
"Jinbo." Norole paused and then said. But this time it's not devastating. She let the waves accelerate them from behind. "Where are we going?" She paused again. "Where are we?"
"Let's go to our 'pod'," said one of the fairies.
"Here is 'Dip'." Another fairy replied.
Norole didn't care about these names. Waters are connected. That's probably it. After a while they arrived at the 'pod'. This is a crystal clear underwater castle complex. The star's light easily passes through the almost transparent walls and refracts back and forth on those ingenious internal structures. Make them appear brighter than the castle on the top of the mountain.
There are air bubbles floating between the castles that do not float up. Some fairies took a bath in the air, and around them were birds that could live in deep water, polishing their scales with their beaks.
There are more water nymphs in the castle. They quickly noticed her presence, turned their heads from carving sand, braiding hair, and other various other dazed activities, and looked at her from a distance. A conch song sounded. Tell her she can enjoy herself.
A feeling like a sea urchin flooded into her heart. This feeling has never happened before.
Norole lived here. Here she takes a bath in the air, sculpts the sand, and braids her hair. The ocean current changed direction for her. Bring the fish directly to their mouths. The water nymphs only smell it. They become bones.
She had never lived this kind of life. Enjoyed it very much.
Then she found a night to float upward.
Where the star's light falls is up. She remembers the moment it fell. Although it's pitch black now.
Norole holds up the fluorescent crown. Let your awareness stretch with the water. There is a small island a few miles behind. It took her two seconds to touch it. But five minutes had passed, and she still couldn't touch the sky or the shore.
"Sister." The voice that looked very similar to hers spoke. Norole felt her presence only when she appeared. A water nymph. Maybe several. Not far behind her. They hid their hands. This has nothing to do with enjoyment.
Why didn't she feel them?
Because our strengths are similar. She wasn't sure. "sisters."
"Where are you going?"
"I'm going ashore. Willy Shaw is still here somewhere."
This time she felt it. The water fairies immediately shook their heads. "We can't go to shore. You don't have to worry about him."
"I'm going," she said. At the same time, her consciousness finally touched the end of the sea. There is a long and winding shoal. There were many guys in the shallows who smelled completely different from theirs.
"You have to go back with us." the water fairies said. He stretched out his hand with the same temperature to her. Pulling together is like the left hand holding the right hand.
Luo Ge rises from the bottom of the water.
"Let's go back to 'pod'." they said.
"Where is this place?"
"This is 'Dip'." said the water fairies. "We have to go back before dawn."
"Dip." Norole repeated. They were gently pulled under the water.
