1. Why is the Ming Dynasty so weak?

answer:

Because there are too many stories about Long Aotian crushing all directions, I think this will miss a lot of plot, such as the very important game between countries.

My original intention was to set up a Ming Dynasty that was neither strong nor weak, but this was actually quite difficult. Because with China's size, there are often two situations, either too strong or too weak.

If it’s too strong, it’ll be a mindless crushing, it’ll be boring after you enjoy it, and there are still a lot of plots that can’t be written; if it’s too weak, who would be able to abuse themselves by reading this kind of writing?

So I chose the most difficult one, which is how to design a Ming Dynasty that is neither strong nor weak in this era.

By the way, in fact, the Ming Dynasty is not weak - its national power is still among the top three in the world. It also has three vassal states of North Korea, Vietnam, and Ryukyu, and has a semi-independent economic internal circulation circle. If the United States does not join the battle, Britain, France and Russia will be unable to defeat her.

2. How do you feel that it is Beiyang or the Republic of China that has changed its skin?

answer:

He is neither a foreigner nor a comprador, how can he be like that?

I don’t admit it anyway. I don’t like these two things. Let’s draw a clear line first. Don’t equate them just because of some similarities. The core differences are still very big.

For example, after seeing "Officers Studying Abroad", I imagined a series of plots... It's normal to go abroad for exchange and study. You can't make mistakes behind closed doors by checking for omissions and filling them in, right?

In history, there was a US Army Captain Carlson who went to the northwest mysterious forces as a military observer to inspect, and was subsequently ordered to form the Second Close Combat Battalion of the Marine Corps to conduct special training for the soldiers using the knowledge he learned there. This battalion was elusive on the Pacific battlefield, and the famous "Sneak Attack on Makin Atoll" was their masterpiece.

3. Why did the Ming Dynasty still equip itself with foreign weapons?

answer:

The main weapons have been independently developed as much as possible, but the auxiliary weapons do not matter. Pistols and carbines are harmless. At the same time, if there are indeed better, ready-made foreign weapons, why not buy them back for reference?

If it's good, just use it, there's no shame in it. Doesn’t the United States also use the Swiss Oerlikon and the Swedish Bofors? Isn’t the British Bren also a copy of the Czech ZB26/30?

As a late-developing industrial country, Ming Dynasty had a weak foundation, and it was impossible to learn from foreign designs in many places.

Think about our world line, when will it be possible to get rid of the Soviet style and independently develop weapons.

However, in terms of settings, Daming's technological strength is not outstanding. Except for aerospace engines, petrochemicals, and electronic equipment, everything else is second-rate and first-rate.

4. Is this Ming Dynasty so similar to the big days?

answer:

Far from it.

In a normal industrial country, the primary and secondary industries are complementary, but life is not. After the Sino-Japanese War of Sino-Japanese War, Japan received a large amount of compensation and was able to develop its military industry in a "leap-forward" manner, which caused serious deformation of its industrial structure.

To put it bluntly, he is a very thin lightweight player with no stamina.

This is not the case in the Ming Dynasty. Its industrial structure is generally stable, but it is also slightly unbalanced - light industry is more developed than heavy industry.

5. Why is the emperor a man?

answer:

Since you have come here to write a book, you have to follow the local customs. It is necessary for both parents to be dead. As for the emperor...it seems that there is no custom of female emperors here, right?
