Zhao Cheng was furious: "This guy is talking nonsense!"

Mr. Dong snorted coldly: "We've all said that the villagers are ignorant and will listen to the wind, but you still insist on asking."

Zhao Cheng was stunned, can you blame me for this?

I thought that the old man was Zhou Rushuang's mentor and benefactor, so I didn't care about him.

Zhou Rushuang secretly stuck out her tongue at Zhao Cheng, meaning not to be offended.

How could Zhao Cheng be offended by such a trivial matter? He was just a little uncomfortable with the old man's cold style.

"Mr. Dong, this box shouldn't be light. I'll switch hands with you. I'll carry it for a while, and you can take a break." Zhao Cheng watched the old man's chest rise and fall, knowing that carrying the box was a strenuous task, so he was willing to lend a hand.

Mr. Dong glanced at Zhao Cheng and shook his head: "You can only carry a pot with your body, but you can't carry this box."

Zhao Cheng was speechless. He felt somehow that Mr. Dong seemed to be somewhat hostile to him.

After a second thought, I understood the reason. Mr. Dong always took care of Zhou Rushuang and watched her grow up. However, he almost died of illness some time ago, and he was penniless, had no land and no property, so of course he didn't look good.

When he was about a third of the way, Mr. Dong found a flat place to put down the box and sit on the box to rest.

"Mr. Dong, why don't we find a car, it will be easier to walk."

Mr. Dong shook his head and said, "I just stretch my muscles."

After a short rest, the three of them hurried on again. After more than half an hour of walking and stopping, they finally arrived at the house in the old city of Qinghe County.

Zhao Cheng took out the key and opened the door, inviting Mr. Dong to enter the hospital.

Mr. Dong looked around at the surrounding scenery and nodded: "This is indeed a good place to live. I heard that you still owe money to others. How can you still have money to buy a house?"

Zhao Chengguan paused his hand at the courtyard gate and said with a smile: "I have gained something in other aspects recently." After going up to the courtyard gate, he invited Mr. Dong to come in and serve tea.

After entering the house, the guests and hosts sat down, and Rushuang went to fetch water and make tea. Zhao Cheng said seemingly unintentionally: "Yesterday, I was delayed by something in Qinghe County. I didn't rush back until dusk, but I met Rushuang on the way."

"When I saw her, she was running and crying. Her clothes were torn and covered in sewage. If I hadn't heard the voice, I wouldn't have dared to recognize her."

"After questioning, I found out that it was the bastard named Li from Liuxi Village. He actually bullied Rushuang while I was not at home."

As he spoke, Zhao Cheng glanced at Mr. Dong's expression. The old man's eyes were slightly lowered, his breathing was even, and he seemed to be sitting there asleep.

Zhao Chengxin said no. The old man walked more than ten miles carrying a box of books. Could it be that he was too tired and fell asleep?

Just as I was thinking this, a slight snoring sound suddenly came from my ears, and it turned out to be Mr. Dong.

Zhou Rushuang had boiled the tea and was walking in with the teapot. When she saw Mr. Dong fell asleep sitting on the chair, he quickly left.

Zhao Cheng also followed him to the yard: "Your teacher is too tired. Since he has fallen asleep, let's not wake him up and let him sleep a little longer."

Zhou Rushuang nodded: "Let's go see what books grandpa left behind."

After the book box was opened, there were volumes of yellowed books inside. Zhao Cheng picked up one and saw Part A of "Taiping Qingling Shu" written on the cover.

Regarding "Taiping Qingling Book", Zhao Cheng dare not say that he understands it completely, but he can only say that he knows a little bit.

Because this book is so important, whenever Taoist classics are mentioned, this book will definitely be mentioned. "Taiping Qingling Shu" is also known as "Taiping Jing".

The content of this sutra is extensive and profound, covering six parts: heaven and earth, yin and yang, five elements, ten branches, disasters and gods.

One of the volumes of the "Taiping Jing" is called "Taiping Yaoshu", which was acquired by Zhang Jiao in the late Eastern Han Dynasty. He used it to develop Taiping Taoism, calling himself the leader and the Tiangong General.

Although Zhang Jiao was killed, the Taiping Jing became one of the important classics of Taoism in the Six Dynasties and Tang Dynasty. The Taoist priests of the Southern Dynasties compiled Taoist books and used the Taiping Jing to form the Taiping Part of the seven "Three Caves and Four Auxiliaries" of the Taoist scriptures. This scripture has been included in the Taoist canons of all subsequent dynasties.

Therefore, this scripture plays an important role in Taoism and is regarded as a prophecy conveying destiny.

Zhang Cheng did not expect that this book box actually contained this sutra. There are ten parts of this sutra, ordered by Heavenly Stems, and Part A is the first one.

"Taiping Jing, it's amazing."

This sutra had been circulated secretly before Zhang Jiao. When Taiping Dao emerged, it was widely circulated and almost everyone in the world knew it. However, since the failure of the Yellow Turban Uprising, although this book is still circulated among the people, it has become rare on the surface.

The Taiping Jing reappeared during the Northern and Southern Dynasties and was passed down to the Song and Yuan dynasties. It was still intact. It began to be incomplete, probably after the Yuan Dynasty Emperor Shizu destroyed the collection in the 18th year of the Yuan Dynasty.

"Has your husband also read these books?" Zhou Rushuang asked curiously when she saw Zhao Cheng sighing with the scriptures.

Zhao Cheng shook his head: "I haven't seen it before, I just heard about it."

Putting down the "Taiping Jing", Zhao Cheng picked up another book and opened the first page directly. The content was: "The way of observing the sky and the journey of holding the sky have been completed. There are five thieves in the sky, and those who see them will prosper. Five The thief is in the heart, and the execution is in the sky. The universe is in the hand, and all transformations are born in the body."

"The nature of human beings is the same as the human scheming. The way of heaven is established to determine people. When heaven sends murderous intentions, it moves the stars to change places; when earth sends murderous intentions, dragons and snakes rise up; when humans send murderous intentions, heaven and earth turn upside down; when heaven and man unite, everything Transform the base.”

"It's amazing!" Zhao Cheng admired sincerely, but he didn't expect to pick up a book, which was the famous "Yin Fu Jing of the Yellow Emperor".

"Your grandfather left you a lot of good things." Zhao Cheng flipped through them, including "The Book of Commandments", "Characters", etc., all of which were classics among classics.

"Have you studied these books?" Zhao Cheng felt incredible. If these scriptures were left to her by Zhou Rushuang's grandfather, then why didn't Mr. Dong teach a word of them? Instead, she took out these books when she was about to leave Zhoujiacun.

Zhou Rushuang stretched out her fingers to touch these yellowed books, and said with some sadness: "I have never learned it, and I didn't know that grandpa left these books for me until today."

Zhao Cheng felt even more strange: "What did Mr. Dong teach you?"

"The Thousand-Character Essay," "Essential Instructions for Enlightenment," and "Instructions for Hundreds of Schools," Zhou Rushuang replied.

At some point, Mr. Dong woke up and stood at the door and said, "She doesn't want to be a scholar, so what's the use of studying so much?"

Zhao Cheng didn't intend to argue with this old gentleman. If he doesn't want to learn, he shouldn't learn. Anyway, these books have been moved back. If Zhou Rushuang wants to learn, Zhao Cheng can teach her.

"Since I have delivered the book, I won't bother you any more and take my leave."

Mr. Dong ignored Zhou Rushuang's plea to stay and insisted on going back, so Zhou Rushuang had no choice but to watch him leave.

"Boy, I see that your eyebrows are darkened. You will lose every bet these days!" Mr. Dong said a word and walked away.
