The plan went very smoothly. Brother Wu and Qian Sheng went out first to send signals to the people inside.
Lin Yi then escaped from the well with Wang Qiang and Bai Lu.
After coming out, I changed into the clothes I had prepared in advance and slipped out through the back door.
After driving Wang Qiang to the foot of the mountain, the group of people drove back and asked to open the mountain gate to enter.
They now have a special status. The monks and laymen who stayed in the temple all respected them very much. They sympathized with Wang Qiang who "unfortunately contracted the disease" and asked them from time to time if they needed help.
They were all politely rejected by Fifth Brother.
They said that they had no other requirements, they just wanted to come to the Buddhist Pure Land to cultivate their sentiments and cleanse their inner irritability.
My friends don't worry about the masters, everything is fine. They just want to walk around in the temple as they please, so please be kind to the masters.
How could they refuse this request?
Fifth Brother put his hands together and thanked him. The monks in the temple took Lin Yi and his entourage to walk around Pujing Temple and gave various explanations.
When they first arrived here that day, they had already walked around, but they were not allowed to enter some places at that time, especially several halls that had existed during the Qing Dynasty. They had not been opened to the public recently due to their disrepair.
I am reporting the repairs to the local religious association, but it is not as bad as a dilapidated house that is completely inaccessible.
But since it was Fifth Brother and the others who wanted to see it, there was no harm in opening it and going in to take a look.
However, after looking around this time, there is nothing new to gain.
There was nothing they were looking for in those halls they had never entered before.
Finally, the group of four people stopped at the door of the small courtyard where the abbot lived, which was considered the most secluded place in the entire temple.
When they first came in, they couldn't get here.
The two courtyard doors of the small courtyard were closed and hung with a big lock.
Through the wall, you can still see a large attic inside, which is magnificent and beautiful.
"Could this be the Buddhist Scripture Pavilion of Pujing Temple?"
Lin Yi pointed at the building and asked casually, and the accompanying monk immediately replied:
"Yes, this is the Sutra Pavilion of our temple. It contains some information about our temple, scriptures and classics, relics enshrined by the former abbot, and some Buddhist treasures enshrined by donors, laymen and pilgrims.
Moreover, this is the residence of the host and is not open to the public. "
Lin Yi said "Oh" and was about to turn around and leave when the idea of going in and taking a look suddenly popped into his mind.
He rarely does such a hot-headed behavior, not to mention that his master has said that this place is not open to the public.
If you want to go in and take a look, wouldn't that be causing trouble to others?
But when he turned to leave, the idea of going in and taking a look became stronger.
That kind of uncontrollable curiosity soon came to the forehead, which is commonly known as "top".
After organizing his words a little, he said:
"Oh, that's such a pity. I don't think I have any connections with Buddhism, but I am very interested in these rare ancient books. Unfortunately, this place is not open to the public."
Lin Yi said it was a pity, but he never moved a step.
Fifth Brother has been in the world for a long time, but he still can’t understand what he means?
He said directly to the monk: "We have come all the way and donated incense to your temple. If you are like this, help us and ask if we can visit the Sutra Pavilion?"
The monk looked a little embarrassed, but since these people in front of him had special status, he couldn't make the decision on this matter, so it would be better to ask.
So, I went to the side and called for instructions.
"Brother, no, what do you think? Do you want to come in here and take a look? Do you think there is something in this Scripture Pavilion?"
Qian Sheng asked in surprise.
In his opinion, Lin Yi is not the kind of person who likes to cause trouble to others.
Unless someone provokes him, he is usually very easy to get along with, so why does he feel a bit possessed by Wang Qiang today?
All the texts and classics that can be placed in the Sutra Pavilion must have passed through the hands of many people. If there is any secret in it, it should not be a secret long ago.
"I had a gut feeling that told me there might be something in here that we were looking for."
"Intuition? Is it similar to a woman's sixth sense?" Bai Lu asked curiously.
Lin Yi shook his head helplessly.
"I don't think so. It can only be said to be a strong psychological suggestion. I don't know exactly where this suggestion comes from."
While several people were talking, the accompanying monk replied.
The host allowed them to visit the Sutra Pavilion, but they needed to be accompanied by monks from the temple throughout the journey.
This request is normal.
No matter how wealthy you are, the big boss who spends a lot of money, the importance of the Tibetan Scripture Pavilion to a big temple is self-evident.
However, being able to go in and have a look was enough to satisfy Lin Yi's curiosity.
The accompanying monk asked someone to bring him the key and opened the door of the small courtyard. On the left is the host's Zen room, and on the right is the reception area.
Directly opposite is the Tibetan Scripture Pavilion.
A modern antique-style loft building, small in scale, with a total of two floors.
The first floor is the Buddhist hall. After entering, there are two security doors on the right. After opening, you can enter the second floor through the internal stairs.
Looking around, a small half of the entire Sutra Pavilion is made up of bookshelves, which contain various books related to Buddhism, mostly modern prints, and the binding designs are all in antique styles.
In a circle of glass display cabinets against the wall, there are some yellowed thread-bound books and manuscript scriptures, most of which are incomplete.
Above the display cabinet hangs the portraits of the historical abbots of Pujing Temple.
There are also offerings placed under the portraits in front.
The history of Pujing Temple in its early years was destroyed by a fire by Zhang Xianzhong, and there is no evidence to prove it.
The earliest host can only be counted from Master Xinzheng. Hanging on the left hand side of the door is his hand-painted portrait of a kneeling face in profile.
"There is no portrait of Master Xinzheng in existence. This portrait was copied and enlarged from the insert of a handwritten scripture in our temple. It is said that the author of the Shurangama Sutra is one of the disciples of Master Xinzheng. The scene of Master Xinzheng chanting sutras and worshiping Buddha was recorded with a paintbrush.
The image of the master without any distractions and concentrating on chanting sutras was recorded. "
As the monk introduced, he led a few people along the corridor.
Lin Yi and Qian Sheng stood there, staring at the portrait of Xinzheng on the wall without moving for a long time.
I have to say that the disciple who painted the portrait of Master Xinzheng was a really good painter.
It breaks away from the fixed category of ancient figure painting, and instead has a sense of realism.
Especially the outline of the facial features on this side is very well done.
It was this profile that attracted Lin Yi and Qian Sheng.
It's not that the painter is so exquisite, but the face of the person in the painting is a bit puzzling to them.
The great monk's face seemed kind and benevolent, but underneath his appearance, there was a fierce murderous intent.
It’s the end of the month, please vote, brothers!
