What left the experiment most speechless was the incident of being scammed while renting a car in Dali.
We originally booked a Ford Joyride, but we were going to Dali the next day. The car rental agency said that the car had been sent for maintenance, and they exchanged it for us with a Dongfeng Fengxing Yacht worth RMB 100,000.
Unlucky, the driver's door was touched, and I asked a friend that six hundred or seven hundred was enough, but the merchant asked for two thousand four hundred, and said that the shipping fee would be five hundred a day, which was really a money grab.
Fortunately, the author rented a car on the platform without a deposit. I have made several complaint calls now and they are being processed, but my mood has been somewhat affected.
Of course, I have my own problems, and I didn’t buy comprehensive insurance. I’m just trying to negotiate an actual compensation amount.
I am quite satisfied with the wedding. The scenery of Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake is indeed beautiful.
But traveling is tiring, congested and ordinary. Famous places are actually not interesting. They are too commercialized, especially the ancient city of Dali.
In comparison, Lijiang Old Town is a little more interesting.
We originally wanted to go to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, but there were too many people and there was no snow this season. We decided to go to Meili Snow Mountain.
I'm in Shangri-La now, so I'll try my luck tomorrow morning, hoping to see the sun shining on the Golden Mountain, but the chance is slim during the rainy season.
