Thoughts before going on sale

After more than two years, it’s time to put it on the shelves again.

Since 2018, I haven’t written about Xianxia for a long time. People often ask me when I will open Xianxia again, and my answer is basically, "There are no plans at the moment" or "If I have new ideas."

When I finished writing "Destiny as Phoenix" at the end of 2017, I felt that I had entered a bottleneck. Three books, more than 7 million words, completely cleared my mind of the imagination of the world of immortals and warriors.

On the one hand, as a creator, I need new stories to bring me freshness. On the other hand, without good ideas, opening another Xianxia book is just repeating yourself. So I put it on hold for now.

Now this title may be familiar to some old readers. When I finished writing "Tian Fang", I showed it to everyone. I had some ideas at the time, but they didn't come to fruition in the end, so I said I would write a book of ancient Chinese novels first, so I wrote "Hidden Pearls".

After two long years, "Hidden Pearls" was finally finished. My creative state was gradually improving, and I felt that I could write this book.

It will be finished in December and a new book will be started in April, with more than three months in between. But I actually only took a month off. After the Spring Festival, I was preparing for this book.

Even though it doesn’t have manuscripts saved now, I actually wrote at least three versions of settings for it, and the manuscripts have been saved for two rounds. But two days before I started the book, I thought about it over and over again, and I always felt that I was still not on point, so I decided to rewrite the beginning, and then it became a bare update.

I really don’t deserve to save the manuscript…

Fortunately, after writing the wedge and the first two chapters, that feeling was captured, and things got better from there.

I hope to write this book in a happy state and to maintain my desire to create. Therefore, I will try to update it as often as possible, but if I feel tired, I will not force it.

Please forgive me. As a middle-aged man with chronic diseases, I have reached the age where I should take care of my health.

At the same time, I also hope that it can bring you the enjoyment of reading and experience a different scenery.
