"Okay, take the things out quickly and let my little brother take care of them."
The broken man urged the bald man unceremoniously.
The bald man was not angry when he was treated like this. He knew that this was what he was like. He was treating him as a true friend, otherwise the other party would not behave like this at all.
Li Jie raised his head and looked around the room carefully. The furnishings in the room were very simple, incomparable to the shabby residence. The furnishings in the room were all new, and there was not a single thought-provoking thing.
And judging from the arrangement of daily items, this room should be occupied by a single person, without any trace of a female life.
This is not surprising. Judging from the nervous posture of the bald man just now, he must have suffered a lot in the past. Given such an opportunity, it is completely understandable that his wife has disappeared.
"Bad Hour, have you seen that painting?"
Sitting on the Taishi chair in the broken room, looking at Erlang's legs, he lazily replied: "I have seen it, but my research on Ming Dynasty calligraphy and painting is not deep, so I am not sure whether it is authentic."
Li Jie nodded thoughtfully. He was telling the truth. He did not know much about Ming Dynasty calligraphy and painting. What he was really good at were Qing Dynasty objects, whether they were calligraphy and painting, toys, or porcelain. Basically, he only needed one Once you get started, you can determine the authenticity.
However, this guy definitely didn't tell the whole story and probably concealed part of the situation.
At this moment, the bald man came out with a painting box under his arm. Then he took out the paintings in the box and laid them flat on the table.
"Little brother, come on, give me Zhang Zhang's eyes."
Li Jie walked to the desk in a few steps. He did not look at the painting directly, but reached out and touched the paper.
This paper was very familiar to him. It was Korean tribute paper. He had used it countless times in the Ming Dynasty.
Goryeo tribute paper is made of Chu paper using traditional manual methods. Its production process is extremely complicated and requires hundreds of processes. It is also called 'Chu paper' and 'hundred paper'.
Its texture is tough, smooth and clean, with a slight infiltration of ink and a rhyme. It is suitable for calligraphy and painting, and has strong durability. It is easier to preserve it for a long time when using Korean tribute paper for calligraphy and painting, so it is highly praised by scholars.
Dong Qichang was a fan of Goryeo tribute paper. Shen Defu, a scholar in the Ming Dynasty, wrote a biography - "Wanli Yehuobian" based on Ouyang Xiu's "Guitian Lu" when he was studying in the Imperial College.
(Literati, regardless of their position, all like to write books and write stories.)
Shen Defu's younger brother Shen Feng and Dong Qichang had a good personal relationship. When Shen Feng died of illness in his early years, Dong Qichang lamented that since Shen Feng's death, no one could pass on his calligraphy.
"Wanli Yehuobian" prefers to describe social experiences and people's construction and happiness. One of the volumes records "Korean Tribute Paper", which states that among the papers used today at home and abroad, Korea's tribute paper ranks first...and Dong Xuanzai Love it………….
Dong Xuanzai is Dong Qichang, and Xuanzai is his given name.
Although the drawing paper has been eroded by the years, Li Jie can still vaguely recognize its original appearance.
When he saw Li Jie rubbing the drawing paper, he couldn't help but asked curiously: "What? Is there something wrong with this paper?"
Li Jie shook his head, replied "No problem" and then stopped.
After all, the seller is present, and if he speaks out, he will be very passive when negotiating prices.
This painting is a landscape painting. To be precise, it is an antique landscape painting. The painting style is obviously not the style of the late Ming Dynasty, but more like the style of the Yuan Dynasty.
This alone is not enough to determine the authenticity of a painting. Dong Qichang created countless calligraphy and painting works throughout his life. He painted when he was happy, painted when he was unhappy, painted after drinking, painted when bidding farewell to friends, and painted when going out for an outing. Moreover, he also likes to copy ancient paintings and poems.
Dong Qichang's works include both his own personal style and imitation of ancient styles.
If you want to identify the authenticity of a painting, you must consider other factors together.
There are a few lines of small words in the upper right corner of the painting. This is the inscription, which actually means an introduction. A line of words written on it indicates what the painting is for, how it came about, and what its purpose is. The inscription on the painting is from It started in the Yuan Dynasty and developed into a routine later.
The inscription on this painting reads: "I still write about what I saw when I went to the mausoleum in September." Jiazi Qiu Xuanzai presented it to Junbeizhang as a gift. '
Dong Qichang was born in the 34th year of Jiajing and became a Jinshi in the 17th year of Wanli (1589). Li Jie silently calculated in his mind which year the Year of Jiazi was.
The fourth year of the Apocalypse, that is, 1624, was the Jiazi year of the lunar calendar.
Jiaziqiu, September, that is, September 1624, is consistent with Dong Qichang's life.
Anyone who is familiar with the history of the Ming Dynasty knows that the most famous thing during the Wanli period was the battle over the country. Dong Qichang was in the middle of the battle when he became a Jinshi. After serving as an official for one year, Dong Qichang resigned from his job on the pretext of going home to recuperate.
It was not until the first year of Taichang (1620) that Dong Qichang regained his power. However, Guangzong was a short-lived ghost. After being the emperor for a month, he was no longer in power. The emperor who succeeded him later was the famous Emperor Tianqi.
At that time, the government was controlled by Wei Zhongxian and Emperor Tianqi's wet nurse, the Hakka family. Dong Qichang was ostracized and stayed in the central government for more than four years. In the fifth year of Tianqi (1625), he was sent to Jinling to serve as the Minister of Rites.
Based on Dong Qichang's life history, the date on the inscription is in line with historical facts and there is no error.
As for "Shangling" most likely means going to the imperial mausoleum. In the fourth year of the Apocalypse, Dong Qichang was still the minister of the Ministry of Rites. It was normal to go to the imperial mausoleum to perform official duties. In addition, the name "Junbeizhang" appeared in the inscription. This matter has already been It doesn't matter anymore.
There are two seals printed below the inscription, namely 'Dong Family Xuanzai' and 'Zong Bo Bachelor'.
From the perspective of seals, there is no big problem. Dong Xuanzai is Dong Qichang's private seal, and 'Zongbo Bachelor' is also his personal private seal.
(A seal is a seal symbol on ancient official documents, calligraphy, paintings, and books. Its significance is to indicate the owner's ownership, use, or recognition of the thing with the seal. In layman's terms, it is an oath of sovereignty, just like Emperor Qianlong. I like to stamp hard.
However, the seal he affixed cannot be called a seal, it can only be called an appraisal seal, that is, an appreciation seal)
The origin of the title of Bachelor Zongbo can be traced back to the "Zhou Li". The "Zhou Li" of the Northern Zhou Dynasty established six officials. In the spring government, Da Zongbo was also appointed as the chief officer, and there was one minister, responsible for the seven orders; the assistant officer was Xiao Zongbo.
During the Xuanzong period, "Tang Liu Dian" stated that the eldest uncle was equivalent to the Minister of Rites, and the younger uncle was equivalent to Taichang Shaoqing.
In the year when Dong Qichang resurrected, he was appointed to the official position of Shaoqing of Taichang Temple, and he himself was a bachelor of the Hanlin Academy. The combination of Xiao Zongbo and the bachelor of the Hanlin Academy became the "Bachelor of Zongbo".
After Dong Qichang became the Minister of Rites in Jinling, he engraved a private seal of "Da Zongbo".
All in all, 'Dong Family Xuanzai' and 'Zong Bo Bachelor' were both private seals used by Dong Qichang.
Therefore, there is no problem with the seal on this painting.
After reading the seal, Li Jie's eyes moved to the lower left corner of the drawing paper. There were also two bright red seals here. The sealing place was the blank space of the calligraphy and painting, which did not affect the appreciation of the painting.
And there are no words next to the seal. A seal like this is the so-called identification seal.
The seal on the top is 'Yunhu Jieguan', and the one on the bottom is 'Tianxi Bookstore'.
Thanks to Mr. Guan, Li Jie happened to know the meaning of these two identification seals.
Yunhu should refer to Li Yufen, a great collector in the Guangxu period (whose name is Zhenmu since he was called Fenhu, so it is troublesome to type, so he has simplified it). He has many names, including Junhu, Yunhu, Fanhu, and Yunhu, all of which are attributed to him. vest.
During the reign of Emperor Guangxu, he wrote a book called "An Explanation of Calligraphy and Painting Records", which contains over a thousand painters. All recorded calligraphy and paintings must have been seen by Li Yufen with his own eyes, or were collected by himself or by friends. .
Since the two words "borrowing" are engraved on the seal, this painting was probably in the hands of Li Yufen's friends during the Guangxu period.
In fact, with this seal, it is equivalent to a connoisseur like Li Yufen personally authenticating it, basically confirming that this painting should be authentic.
The remaining stamp engraved with 'Tianxi Bookstore' is equally not simple. Tianxi Bookstore is the name of He Guanwu, a great collector in Guangzhou.
