It's late at night, and the whole world has fallen into a deep sleep.
Without warning, a bolt of lightning struck down from the tranquil sky and fell towards the lighthouse on the seaside. In that moment of light, a demonic figure could be seen standing on top of the lighthouse. He closed his eyes, as if he was comprehending the secret of the night—that is, Jochebed escaped from Gottfried's hands.
He is afraid.
This is not to say that he is afraid of Gottfried - the mathematician did not actually defeat him. Even at the last moment, the strength of Gottfried's spirit body was still far behind him.
What he fears is the magic itself used by Gottfried - it can turn Jochebed back into a mortal body, and also allow Gottfried to gain power beyond matter. The wisdom contained in it even exceeds the "Chariot Technique for Ascending to the Sky" itself.
"Enlighten... God's method of creating man, open up... the method of man's return to God, and what about ∫????f(x)dx=F(b)-F(a)..."
Jochebed was completely unable to grasp this knowledge, and could not even understand the meaning of one of the symbols. He thought that he had obtained the supreme wisdom about God through the "Chariot Technique". But Gottfried told him that he still knew nothing.
"Why? God, I successfully crossed the seventh heaven and came to you. I picked up the straw according to your guidance and measured your infinity, but why didn't I get this knowledge? Why did you hide it from me? What about this knowledge? Do you think I am not pious enough?"
Another bolt of lightning struck. Jochebed spread his wings within it—the wings were no longer made of condensed light, they were as black as the abyss.
"That's right... I'm not pious enough! I want to do more things for God, and I want to rescue more people from the shackles of the Creator and let them return to the true God!"
He turned into lightning and fell towards the fishing village ahead. Along with the loud noise of thunder, a fire broke out in the fishing village.
"Not enough... far from enough. Let people in all surrounding villages and towns see this scene and let them feel the salvation from God!"
In the midst of painful groans, the wings on his back split open and turned into thousands of fragments floating away. They floated through the woods, across the mountains, across the river, and fell into every dream.
As a result, all the people nearby saw what was happening in the fishing village through their dreams - they saw people in the fishing village screaming and running out of their houses. And a Semitic was chasing them. It completely ignored people's cries and kept chanting magical incantations like a demon, causing lightning to strike the most densely populated areas again and again. The spot directly struck by lightning turned into charcoal. Lightning further ignited thatch and houses, and many people twisted their limbs in pain in the sea of fire.
“Look, they are all singing for joy and dancing for joy.”
Jochebed spoke to those who were still running and to those who were asleep.
"You don't have to worry, it won't be long before you can be saved like this!"
He chased people running in all directions. He turned sand, gravel, sawdust, and even dead leaves into murderous weapons. They fell into the crowd and stirred up the flesh and blood of the villagers like a meat grinder, killing them one by one.
At the end of the chase, a church appeared in front of Jochebed. A mother collapsed at the door of the church with her one-month-old baby in her arms. She wanted to knock on the church door and seek refuge, but Jochebed pierced her heart with a thatch outside the door.
church.
Jochebed looked at the sacred religious place with tears in his eyes. He broke open the church door. A ray of moonlight shot in from the window at the top of the church, illuminating the solemn cross in front of the church.
"Ah... God, the Creator created all this stupidity, but he is above all things. People worship its cross, but you, the real God, have been forgotten by everyone!"
Jochebel sent a stalk of wheat flying toward the great cross. The straw only touched the cross softly, and the cross broke immediately. This prompted a scream from the corner of the church.
"Oh, so there is someone here?"
Jochebed walked towards the direction of the sound step by step.
In the corner, Jochebed spotted a young nun. She was holding the scriptures and shivering in the corner.
"Have you been hiding here? Did you hear the knock on the door just now? There was a woman outside, holding a child. He knocked on this door for a long, long time, and he didn't get an answer until he died. It turned out that there was someone inside. What?"
Jochebed’s words caused the nun to pray in agony: “Lord, please forgive my sins!”
"Sins? What sins can you have? You did a good job. It was you who allowed them to be saved. You are a qualified servant of God!"
Jochibe grabbed the nun's hand and pulled her up. He put his nose to the nun's neck and sniffed vigorously, while his hands went all the way down, caressing her collarbone, back and slender waist. As he continued to fumble with his hand, the nun screamed: "Don't do this, I have given my body to God!"
Jochibe read emotionlessly in the nun's ear: "Why do you cherish your body so much? It is just a product of error, which binds your gnosis. Do it, abandon it, destroy it. It is the road to salvation—come and let me grant you salvation.”
As he spoke, he roughly pushed the nun to the wall.
"Everything that happens here tonight will enter people's dreams. Come on, since you are a servant of God, show them the correct path to salvation."
"I am also a servant of God. Can you set an example for me first?"
Suddenly a man's voice reached Jochebed's ears. Jochebed turned around abruptly - at some point another person appeared in the church. With his back to Jochebed, he was squatting on the ground trying to put the broken cross back together.
For some reason, just seeing the man's back made Yochibe's body uncontrollably start to tremble.
"Who are you?" Jochebed shouted, "A priest of the Orthodox Church of Abraham?"
"Priest? That's right. After all, I often preside over this work."
The man picked up the cross and stood up. The clothes on his body were in tatters, like a priest in ascetic practice.
Jochebed's body trembled even more. He shouted with a louder voice: "Just a priest... Even if you are an apostle, I will not be afraid of you!"
"Really? That's just right."
The man turned around slowly. The moment his face was revealed, the nun burst into tears of joy:
"Lord Gregory! Are you here?"
