First of all, let me state that this is only the first volume
A small talk at the end of "The Sword Points to the Vast" has nothing to do with the subsequent development of the plot of the book, etc., so you can ignore it!
By posting this chat, I don’t mean to defraud all book friends out of their reading money. So you book friends, you can read it or not, just feel free to do so!
If you want to publish this chat for free, you need to put it at the beginning of the free chapter. But I put it at the beginning. Many people will see this as soon as they open the book, and they may be confused and have no idea what I am talking about, so it is better to put it at the end of the first volume.
In fact, this book is a bit slow to develop, so that the first sixty chapters seem relatively boring, which are all about settings and training.
So for those of you who can persist in reading this, thank you for giving this book a chance. I believe you will see more exciting plots and richer people and things in the second volume!
In fact, the name at the beginning of the first volume is not
"The sword points to the vastness", but
"Emperor Wei Shi", but later I felt that
"Wei Shidi" was a bit too vulgar and not high-end enough, so I changed it.
"The sword points to the vastness". Anyway, I still feel good about myself. I feel a bit superior, and the last chapter also corresponds to it.
Well, mainly because I don’t have much ink in my stomach, and I can’t think of a better name to summarize the contents of the first volume, haha!
Volume 1
The chapter "The Sword Points to the Vast" comes to an end here, which means that everything about Liu Wei in Chenguang Continent temporarily ends here.
This volume, placed in the whole book, can actually only be regarded as a small beginning. It introduces the protagonist, and then introduces the protagonist's various abilities and defying qualities, as well as the functions of the Golden Finger Tower. Just wait.
Volume 2
"Sword Sings to the Heavens" will be officially released tomorrow. Although the first volume is temporarily completed, there are still some questions that have not been clearly explained in the Chenguang Continent.
For example, mythical beasts like the phoenix in the misty forest are almost extinct in the big world and the super big world. Why do they appear in a small world like the Chenguang Continent?
For example, what is the origin of Death Valley? Who or what species was the man in red inside waiting to fight?
Is it just to protect the small Chenguang Continent? For example, why does the Netherworld Temple appear in Chenguang Continent?
These questions, especially the first two, may only be gradually revealed later in the book.
As for the Ten Palaces of the Netherworld, they will emerge bit by bit later and appear before the eyes of all readers. Will some of the people left behind in Chenguang Continent appear in your field of vision later?
For example, Zhou Jing, who is gentle and quiet, Li Yun, who is cute and cute, Gu Yu, who has a photographic memory, and so on.
And will the good brothers of the three protagonists, Fatty, Silly and Bai Luoxi, appear again? There is also the issue of Liu Wei’s life experience. Who are his parents and what are their origins?
These issues will also be revealed one by one later. It has not been revealed yet whether Zhou Jing will become a member of Liu Wei's harem in the future.
In fact, at the beginning of the book, when establishing the outline, my setting was that the protagonist had only one wife, Yan Ruyu.
As for Xiao Waner later, for the development of the plot, the outline was slightly modified and added.
There is also Zhao Ling'er, who has the same cold physique as Xiao Waner. These two people will play a big role in promoting the plot of the second volume, at least that's what I think at the moment.
The protagonist of this book, Liu Wei, will definitely not be a stallion. He will fall in love with everyone he sees and accept everyone he meets. He will not be a map cannon either. I can make this clear here.
But it doesn’t mean that there won’t be women later and they won’t have anything to do with Liu Wei! In fact, you can find that in the Chenguang Continent, those in power are basically men, because in the eyes of the ancients, they had patriarchal ideas.
In the content of the second volume, I will also add some content about women taking power, so that there will not be a single powerful woman in the whole book. If there are any female book friends, they will scold me if they can't help it!
In fact, this book does not have a clear historical background. Whether it is ancient or modern, it is not on the earth anyway, so there is no need to worry about these things.
Anyway, they are all illusory and not real. This book currently has over 900,000 words and nearly 1 million words. There is a saying in the Internet
"A million words can make a god" means that as long as he persists in writing a book with a million words, the author can become a god.
I just want to say, isn't this nonsense? Now I have almost a million words, but I am still a loser, and a very loser. Haha, there are not many readers.
Of course, this is also because my own handwriting is not good. As a new author, I actually didn’t understand some of the details of writing a book before starting the book. As a result, the content of the first thirty chapters of the book is a bit boring. It’s just about practicing, practicing, practicing again, without contradictions or conflicts. Therefore, it seems boring, which leads most readers to abandon the book and run away after ten chapters or even more.
Of course, the subsequent story is also a bit monotonous, lacking some branch lines, no pretending to be a pig to eat the tiger, no pretense to slap the face, the plot is not exciting enough, and the readers are not satisfied with it, etc.
In fact, I gradually discovered these problems later on, but at that time it was already seven to eight million words. It was quite troublesome to go back and add things. The whole book had to be torn down and started over.
So that’s it for now, let’s try to make the following content richer and more exciting! Another problem is that it did not use the popular opening themes at the moment, such as the divorced engagement flow, the wasted family flow, the son-in-law flow, the rebirth flow, etc. Instead, it used a death-killing opening flow that was no longer used in Jin Yong's era. .....I've run out of excuses. I have no more excuses.
Okay, then boldly admit it, you are still too...too strong! Hmm, it must be like this, but everyone can’t appreciate it, haha!
This book is expected to have about five to six million words when it is finished. If it were spread out more widely, it might be about eight or nine million words. I don’t know if I can manage so many without my ability. Damn, let’s read it later while writing!
If you can't control it, it will end in time. Anyway, it won't be unfinished or eunuch. At the beginning, Ta Ye was a bit too pretentious, and the world structure was a bit too big, so it was difficult to finish it in two to three million words.
Finally, I would like to thank all the book friends who have never left me. You can see comments in the comment area every day, just those few people, and there are a few others who have never spoken.
Anyway, thank you for your silent tips, subscriptions, and votes. In fact, you can comment and communicate any thoughts you have while reading the book, which will also help me write a plot that satisfies you in my later writing.
Several book friends who have been commenting should know that I often click on the comment area to read it. When someone comments, I will like or reply to show that I have seen your comments.
So while we are reading the book, we still hope that we can communicate with each other, whether good or bad.
Of course, if you just curse someone, just tolerate it. After all, I am relatively thin-skinned. Liu Wei is not as thick-skinned as Ta Ye Ta Pi. If you scold me, I will cry for you, haha!
So I hope everyone can read books in a civilized manner no matter which author you read. After all, book lovers read books and pictures for fun, and spend money to get angry. Isn’t that asking for trouble?
Is this true? The road of cultivating Taoism is lonely, and the same is true for the author's road of writing books! When I reached 200,000 words, I saw the single-digit collection of Chat Talk, and I actually hesitated whether to continue writing.
Many times I thought about opening a new book for Eunuch, but in the end I gave up the idea. Do you want to read one eunuch after another?
This is not what an author should be. So I gritted my teeth and kept writing. Regardless of whether my grades were good or bad, I wrote a complete book first, and then I treated it as a way to practice my writing skills and my ability to control the plot.
There are some relatively boring plots in the book. In my opinion, this is actually an essential part of the transition from one plot to another.
The plot of every story always has a development period, a climax period, and then a dull period.
If there are only intense plots in the whole book without some transitions and foreshadowing, then I believe that if you read too much, you won’t find it interesting!
Just like the last few chapters of the first volume, Liu Wei is preparing to leave Chenguang Continent, saying goodbye to friends and acquaintances in the northern and southern states, and arranging various things.
I believe some readers will think it is dispensable, or even think it is water. But I think this part is essential, because the protagonist doesn’t know if he will have a chance to come back and see these people again after he leaves. The farewell before leaving can further highlight that the protagonist is a person with feelings.
Isn’t it the same in our real life? If these parts are briefly mentioned, I feel that there will be a lack of emotion, the protagonist's feelings towards some people in this world.
I have written almost one million words now, and I really don’t think about giving up anymore. I want to finish this book completely.
When this book is finished, maybe it will be a year or two later. Anyway, I thought that after this book is finished, I will write it again and prepare to make a trilogy. But this will be a few years later, and it is not possible now. to consider.
In fact, compared to the author who updates 10,000 words every day, my 6,000 words is indeed a bit less, but compared to the author of 2,000 words, I think it is still a lot, haha!
The main reason is that I don’t have that much time to code. It takes me two and a half to three hours to finish coding a 3,000-word chapter, and I have to concentrate on it without any interruptions. Can you believe it?
If I have a free day, I can only code 10,000 words from 9 a.m. to around 11 p.m., and sometimes 12 p.m., so 6,000 words a day is my limit, and I still have some time. When I was working on the manuscript, if something unexpected happened, 6,000 words would be lost!
So if you book friends feel that updates are slow, you can save it once a week to read it, but don’t run away and cry!
I hope I can still see these friends later. If you run away, I will catch you along the network cable, haha!
I won’t go into too much nonsense, I hope it will be in the second volume
In the chapter "The Sword Sings to the Heavens", a more exciting plot can be written, which book lovers will like. Thank you again to all the book friends and colleagues for your support, take a bow!
I wish you all good health, all the best, and may you make a lot of money! Volume 2
"Swords of the Heavens" will see you all tomorrow!
