Zou Yu's flags came out to convey the order to relieve the troops. Liang Wang and Taichang Sima Zhenzhi took a warship to Xiangyang with banners. They got a lot of benefits from the previous edict. This time Sima Zhenzhi went happily and was not affected at all by the failure of Zouyu Banners to return without success.
Sima Zhenzhi was full of confidence that Duke Yong would definitely agree to the court's request to call off his troops and make a truce, because this time he was not like King Sima Rouzhi of Qi who went to talk nonsense, but he went with a purpose that was beneficial to Duke Yong.
I have a predestined relationship with Duke Yong. The last time he delivered an edict and discussed marriage, Duke Yong thanked the matchmaker and gave him a lot of good things. The colored porcelain he brought back was even jealous of King Langya. I wonder what Duke Yong will give this time.
Arriving at Xiangyang on November 12th, Sima Zhenzhi showed the Zou Yu banner and read out the decree. Yang Anxuan heard that the imperial court divided Yizhou into two parts, Wenchuan County, Shu County, Jianwei County, Jiangdu County and Hanjia County. The north of Qingyi River was Bei Yizhou, with Yinji as the governor of North Yizhou; Hanjia County Qingyi River Nan, Yue, Zhuti and Yangke were designated as Nan Yizhou, and Tan Daoji was appointed as the governor of Nan Yizhou; and in agreement with Yang Anxuan's proposal, Mao Xiuzhi was appointed as the governor of Yanzhou.
It seems that Liu Yu doesn't want to fight hard with the Yongzhou army in Yizhou. In fact, Yang Anxuan doesn't want to fight anymore because the northern border is uneasy.
The secret guard reported that Sun Song, the eldest son of the Northern Wei Dynasty, was stationing troops and gathering grain in Anyi, with the intention of marching eastward to Yishi City and Puban City. Yang Anxuan summoned Lu Gui to go to Yizhou, ordered Yang An to move to Puban City, and appointed him as the governor of Hedong, Hongnong and Fengyi counties, and also to guard Tongguan to resist the troops of the Northern Wei Dynasty.
Puban City has 5,000 elite Yong troops, Chen Yusuo leads 5,000 naval forces, plus more than 10,000 surrendered troops, and Yao and He in Yishi City have 12,000 troops, including 6,000 surrendered troops from the original Qin Dynasty, and 6,000 newly recruited troops. There are four thousand troops and horses, and two thousand troops from Sizhou.
After General Qin Xiaoqi's kingdom surrendered to Yang Anxuan, he was appointed General Ningshuo and led five thousand troops to guard Jie County. Jie County is located forty miles west of Yishi City, adjacent to Feng Yi County across the Yellow River, and one hundred and twenty miles northeast of Puban City. The three cities are in a triangle shape and can support each other.
After the destruction of the Qin Dynasty, Yang Anxuan reorganized the layout of his generals: Wang Zhen evil guarded Chang'an and served as the governor of Beiyong Province. After Biejia Yinji was recalled, Guo Chengzhi took over as Biejia. He remained in charge of Cen Minghu and concurrently served as the prefect of Feng Yi County; Menglong Fuzhen Chiyang, the prefect of Beidi, Fufeng and Xinping counties, joined forces with Yang Anyuan and Cen Minghu to defend Daxia; Zhu Chaoshi returned to Liangzhou to form Gucheng, and his Shiping prefect was concurrently appointed by Kuai En; in order to strengthen the strength of Yanzhou, Yang Anxuan general Zhu Ling Shi was transferred to the post of Yanzhou Biejia, and Xi Pijiang recalled him to serve as the governor of Yonggong's mansion.
Not only were there changes in the Northern Wei Dynasty, Helian Bobo of the Great Xia Kingdom also had the intention of going south. In order to allow Daxia to send troops, Yao Hong ceded Anding County to Helian Bobo. After Helian Bobo returned to Wuding Hebei, he ordered his second brother Wei Gong Helian Lijun to guard Anding City.
After Helian Bobo rested in the king's tent for a period of time, he began to make moves again. He ordered Helian Lijun to lead his army to plunder near Quaigu City several times.
Meng Longfu sent his general Xi Xin to lead the army to garrison Xinping County. Wang Zhenhe, the governor of Beiyong Prefecture, ordered his younger brother Wang Hong to join Li Qiang and lead five thousand troops to garrison in Yinmi. They were horns with Quaigu City and supported each other.
After receiving the military information from Wang Zhene, Yang Anxuan felt that the Daxia army in Anding County was like a thorn in his back and must be removed first.
Anding City is in the north of Western Qin, bordering Zhuliang. The land of Zhuliang is rich in saltpeter. After the secret of gunpowder is cracked, saltpeter will definitely become a war preparation material for various countries and be competed for.
Yang Anxuan decided to strike first, cutting off the roads to the west in the Northern Wei Dynasty and Daxia, and controlling the transportation channels of Zhuliang saltpeter mines to the east and south.
Yang Anxuan left more than 30,000 elites in Beiyongzhou. Later, the number of elites was reduced to more than 20,000. However, more than 50,000 troops were gradually moved in. Maintaining stability was no longer a problem, but it was difficult to attack Anding County.
After receiving the imperial order, Yang Anxuan sent people to Hanjia to convey the message, asking Yin Ji to garrison Chengdu Mansion, and dispatched Lu Gui to lead 8,000 troops to Chencang to prepare for the attack on Anding.
At the same time, Yang Anxuan sent envoys to Wuhan City in the Western Qin Dynasty, preparing to join forces with Qifu Chipan to seize Anding County. This king of the Western Qin Dynasty was a man of great talent and strategy. Taking advantage of the fall of the Later Qin Dynasty, he obtained another 1,400 swords and guns funded by himself, and expanded his territory to the west. He acquired the lands of Longyou and Longxi, and also robbed a large area of Tuyuhun. , Nanliang was still lingering under his attack, and the surrounding tribes surrendered to the Western Qin.
A stern look flashed in Yang Anxuan's eyes. He knew that Qifu Chipan would eventually be dissatisfied, but at the moment they could still use each other to let the Western Qin Army help contain Zhuliang and Daxia, so that he could have time to clean up the troubles around Northern Yongzhou.
These are external troubles, and there are also many internal troubles in Northern Yongzhou. After all, it had been more than thirty years since the founding of the Later Qin Dynasty, and Yao Xing could be considered a benevolent king. Many people in the country missed the old dynasty.
Wang Zhene deliberately adopted a high-pressure policy and forced many of the old Qin nobles to rebel. He took the opportunity to kill a group of people, but many of the remaining people were dissatisfied and were only temporarily dormant, so the danger was still considerable.
The country of the Later Qin Dynasty was dotted with tribes of various sizes. These tribes lived by the water and had no fixed abodes. Most of them were unwilling to abide by the laws of the Jin Dynasty. Yang Anxuan asked Wang Zhen to treat evil intentions with gentleness and lure them with benefits, but in the short term It cannot be effective within the time limit.
Chunyu Zong was ordered to return to Chang'an to promote Confucianism, but was resisted by the old Qin gentry. Literacy had always been the right of the gentry, so how could their children sit with mud-legged men and shepherd boys.
No matter how the government promotes
"Education without distinction",
"Teaching students in accordance with their aptitude", the local gentry refused to let their children go to the academy, and the scribes who were originally good friends with Chunyu Zong all avoided seeing him. Chunyu Zong had no choice but to recruit the children of farmers who came from the land of Yongyan to reclaim wasteland.
Chunyu Zong failed to promote Confucianism, but Zhi Miaoyin was successful in Chang'an Temple. There were many Buddhist believers in Chang'an City. Zhi Miaoyin lectured on the "Radiant Prajna Sutra" at the Legislative Platform in the west of Chang'an City, which shocked the whole city.
Tan Wucheng, a disciple of Master Jiumo, came on stage to argue with him. The audience was packed with spectators, and Wang Zhene came to listen to the Dharma in person.
After discussing the Dharma for three days in a row, Zhi Miaoyin made a wonderful argument, and finally Tan Wucheng folded his hands and bowed before leaving. Master Zhi Miaoyin's Buddha's name resounded throughout Chang'an City.
With Yang Anxuan as his backing, Zhi Miaoyin went straight to Wang Zhene and raised money to build a Jianjing Temple.
Chang'an City had a new owner, and there were many vacant houses. Wang Zhen'e knew about Yang Anxuan's plan to use Buddhism to stabilize the people, and immediately expressed his strong support and gave the former Qin Pingyuan Gong Yao Pu's mansion to Zhi Miaoyin.
The house was ready, so it was much faster to renovate it. Zhi Miaoyin diverted the money originally intended for Moshan to carve Buddhas into rebuilding the Jianjing Temple, and recruited craftsmen to work day and night. Within three months, the magnificent Jianjing Temple was erected. Chang'an City is west.
The Wang family donated a six-foot-tall bronze Buddha, and Wang Zhen'e personally wrote a couplet of famous temple names for the Buddhist temple. Of course, he would not let go of the two couplets of wonderful sounds that Yang Anxuan proposed for Jianjing Temple.
On the day when Jianjing Temple was consecrated, the whole city came to watch the ceremony. The red silk on both sides of the mountain gate was removed.
"Drums in the evening and bells in the morning wake up the rich and famous in the world, and the sound of the Buddha's call brings back the charming dreams of the sea of suffering." Two lines of gold characters came into view, attracting everyone to pay homage and recite the Buddha's name.
Entering the Buddhist temple, there are stone carvings, and the two Buddhist verses by Yang Anxuan are clearly engraved on them, which again elicits a burst of sighs of emotion when chanting the Buddha's name.
Zhi Miaoyin personally welcomed Wang Zhen'e, Cen Minghu and a group of believers to go inside, and watched everyone stand in front of the main hall and watch.
"Bodhi has no tree, no self, and no one can see it at ease. The clear mirror is neither a platform nor an empty space nor a color, so I can see the Tathagata." I feel secretly proud that Jianjing Temple left Jiankang but established itself in Chang'an. Amitabha, the Lord Buddha, bless me.
In front of the Zhangliu Buddha statue, there was a misty incense. A group of female nuns were chanting Buddhist scriptures holding bells, golden drums, chimes, gongs, cymbals, wooden fish and other magical instruments. Wang Zhen'e was the first to burn incense and bow down. Of course, he had the qualifications to hold the incense stick. It was the turn of the person with the largest official position and the most donations in Chang'an City.
Then came Guo Chengzhi and Cen Minghu, and the Buddhist temple was also ranked according to seniority. Wang Zun came with his brother Wang Zhene to burn incense and worship the Buddha. He was only an official of the governor's office, and it was not his turn for the time being.
Tired of waiting, Wang Zun looked around and saw the Buddha sitting cross-legged, with a kind face, solemn and quiet amidst the smoke. Several rows of long lamps on the incense table swayed slightly, and the Sanskrit music made people feel solemn.
His eyes passed over the banner and glanced at the nuns on both sides who were reciting sutras. He could not look away from the face of a beautiful nun.
At this moment, in Wang Zun's heart, all the Buddha and the solemnity were forgotten, and all he could see was the nun with lowered eyebrows and folded hands, chanting softly.
After receiving Yang Anxuan's letter, Wang Zhene warned his brothers to be more restrained in their actions; he became more cautious in his actions, and no longer refused all the property and maids sent to his door.
Immediately after Yin Ji left office and Guo Chengzhi took over, Wang Zhene knew that Yang Anxuan was worried about him and sent someone to keep an eye on him.
However, Yang Anxuan stated in the letter that
"The king will not rebel against Yang, wealth and honor should be shared" deeply moved Wang Zhen'e. Back then, his grandfather and King Fu Tian achieved a good relationship between the king and his ministers. Why couldn't he and his master
"Like a fish, there is water." According to Yang Anxuan's letter, Wang Zhene carried out extensive construction projects in Beiyongzhou and recruited people to build embankments and cultivate fields. After attending the consecration of Jianjing Temple, Wang Zhene went around with his entourage.
Ever since that day when he saw Mingjing, Wang Zun felt like he had lost his soul. All the concubines and maidservants in his family had turned into yellow-faced women, no matter how hard they looked at him.
Wang Zun went to Jianjing Temple every day like a ghost and donated large sums of incense, just so that he could talk to Mingjing.
Wang Zun's anomaly quickly attracted Zhi Miaoyin's attention. Zhi Miaoyin invited the benefactor to the meditation hall, and soon learned that this benefactor was the fourth brother of Wang Prefect, who came for clarity.
Beauty is a disaster, Zhi Miaoyin secretly sighed in her heart, she is so beautiful and charming, even if she becomes a monk, she still attracts bees and butterflies. This was the case in Jiankang, and it is still the case after coming to Chang'an.
Speaking of which, only Yonggong's heart was as solid as stone and he remained unmoved. Wang Zun saw that Master Zhi Miaoyin was in a trance and said softly: "Master Miaoyin, I would like to present a Jade Buddha and ask Master Mingjing to recite sutras and pray for my brother." When Zhi Miaoyin heard the Jade Buddha, his lowered eyes lit up, he turned his beads and said: "The king's donor has a clear Buddha nature, and the Buddha will definitely bless the donor and your brother. When you invite the Jade Buddha, the poor monk will ask Mingjing to recite sutras and pray for you." After Wang Zunxi left diligently, Zhi Miaoyin thought for a moment and ordered outside the door. The little novice monk who was standing there said, "Minghui, go and ask your senior sister Mingjing to come." After a little effort, Mingjing entered the room to salute, and a wonderful voice told her to sit down on the futon opposite. He poured a cup of tea and pushed it over, saying: "Mingjing, I've been here lately. Can you gain enlightenment by practicing Zen?" Mingjing stared at the tea in the cup and said calmly: "No enlightenment." Zhi Miaoyin sighed: "You can't forget the old things in the world of mortals, so naturally you can't make progress in Buddhism." Mingjing raised his eyebrows and looked at Zhi Miaoyin, He said: "Master, have you ever forgotten all the things in the world?" Zhi Miaoyin turned the Buddha beads and said nothing for a long time: "Since you can't forget the past, you have no connection with Buddhism, so you should return to the secular world." A sad look appeared on Mingjing's face, and she said sadly. : "Mingjing's whole family is mourned. He has no home for a long time, so he can only become a monk." Zhi Miaoyin saw Mingjing's face full of desolation, but it was like a flower swaying in the wind, with a pitiful look that made people feel pity.
Amitabha, the wonderful sound of the Buddha recited in my heart, it really made me feel pity for him. This woman does not forget grudges and may cause trouble for the temple in the future. Zhi Miaoyin regrets that she should not have been admitted to the sect in the first place.
There was silence in the room for a moment, and then a wonderful voice said: "Go back and think more about it. If you want to return to secular life, just tell me, and I will never stop you." Mingjing stood up, gave a salute, and left in a graceful manner.
