On July 11, 1940, on this day, Meng Shaoyuan was ready to die for his country!
He couldn't believe that he could be so brave and so ready to die!
Perhaps, people's bloody nature will only be stimulated at the last moment.
At this last moment, the mountains and rivers were shattered, and the country reached a moment of life and death.
This last moment is the moment when every conscientious Chinese must fight to the death in the face of the invaders.
This last moment is a moment to swear not to be a slave to the subjugation of the country, a moment to fight to the last soldier and fight to the end!
There are cowards and traitors in this country.
But in this country, there are more good men who are strong and strong!
Die, die standing!
The backbone of the Chinese people has never been bent in the face of foreign invasion.
We are fighting!
The most important thing is that there is still one Chinese, and this country cannot be destroyed!
Meng Shaoyuan knew he had done it.
Li Zhifeng tidied himself up, and then saluted with a bang:
"Sir, it is my lifelong honor to be able to fight alongside you!"
Meng Shaoyuan's military uniform of a major general of the National Revolutionary Army has long been a target of public criticism.
A large number of Japanese troops slowly surrounded here.
Meng Shaoyuan held the grenade:
"It is a great blessing for our country and our nation to have warriors like you!"
After saying that, he pulled the fuse of the grenade without hesitation.
"Sir!"
Suddenly, Li Zhifeng roared fiercely, grabbed the grenade from Meng Shaoyuan's hand, and threw it towards the Japanese army on the opposite side!
"boom"!
Amidst the violent explosion, a flag fluttered in the wind outside Houjia Village.
This flag has a red silk ground, a built-in national emblem, and yellow silk tassels. On one side of the flagpole, there is a pair of white silk with black gauze in the middle. It reads:
The 194th Division of the National Revolutionary Army!
The flag of the National Revolutionary Army!
The sound of killing shook the heaven and earth!
Bullets are coming like rain!
Countless Chinese soldiers were swept into Houjiacun like a torrent!
Meng Shaoyuan's feet went weak.
It’s coming, it’s coming after all!
At this most critical moment, reinforcements finally appeared!
He is ready to die for his country.
But whoever really wants to die is a fucking bastard!
…
"The young master has encountered two darkest moments in his life, and it was the first time in Houjiacun... The young master on that day was a truly indomitable hero...
He was ready to die for his country, and he even fired a grenade. If a battalion of the 1128th Regiment of the 194th Army Division had not arrived in time, there might have been no legendary story about the young master in the future...
Sister Jingyi and I clearly saw everything he did. We held hands together and walked out. Sister Jingyi and I threw the grenades at the Japanese fiercely..."
Yu Yanchu, "My War of Resistance".
…
On July 11, 1940, the Japanese 194th Division and the 16th Division launched a comprehensive counterattack against the Japanese army.
The Japanese troops who invaded Zhenhai were unable to resist.
At about 8 p.m., the Japanese warships parked outside Zhenhaikou once again launched frantic bombardments on Qijiashan, Qingzhi, and Zhenhaicheng to cover the retreat of the Japanese troops.
The 48th Regiment of the 16th Division began to pursue the victory.
At 10 p.m., the 1st Battalion of the 48th Regiment of the 16th Division recaptured Jinji Mountain, and the 2nd Battalion recaptured Niwan.
After 2 a.m. on the 12th, the 1127th Regiment of the 194th Division launched a fierce attack on the remaining Japanese troops hiding in Hongyuan Fort, wiping out all the Japanese troops.
The 1128th Regiment entered Zhenhai County. At 3:30, Zhenhai and Xiaogang were all recovered.
Most of the Japanese troops who invaded Houjia Village were annihilated.
The Japanese army was completely driven out of Zhenhai.
Zhenhai, great victory!
The Zhenhai Defense War was a major victory achieved by our army in the coastal areas of eastern Zhejiang during the Anti-Japanese War.
This is known as the "Battle of Taierzhuang in Eastern Zhejiang".
During the battle, our army killed nearly 600 Japanese soldiers and injured about 800 people.
But before I joined the war, more than 800 officers and soldiers died and 780 were injured.
In this battle, it was a miracle that the casualty ratio between the enemy and ourselves was controlled to close to 1:1.
However, the casualties of our soldiers did not include a special force:
Military agent!
In the defense battle of Houjiacun, the Ningbo Station of the Military Command suffered heavy losses.
The Guards of the Director of the Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai Supervision Division of the Military Unification Bureau suffered heavy losses.
358 people from the Ningbo Station participated in the battle, 292 were killed and 66 were injured.
In other words, not only was no one injured in the entire Ningbo station, but the proportion of injuries was far lower than the proportion of casualties.
Apart from being tragic, there are no other words to describe it.
The first 15 members of the "Iron-Blooded Guards" to participate in the defense of Houjiacun were killed:
13 people!
Only one captain, Li Zhifeng, and a guard named Hao Fengwen were left.
This is for:
"Four Hundred Warriors of Houjiacun"!
According to the later memories of the ** battalion commander of the 1128th Regiment who led reinforcements, when he annihilated the Japanese army in Houjia Village, the scene in front of him completely shocked him.
What on earth have those "dog spies" that these soldiers looked down upon experienced in these three days.
Some agents still maintained their offensive posture when they died.
Some agents have been killed, but his mouth is biting the throat of a Japanese corpse, and he can't pull it up no matter how hard he pulls it.
One agent's left arm was missing. He stood there silently, tears flowing out one after another.
It is said that he is a captain of the Ningbo Station of the Military Command Bureau, and his surname is Lai.
The agents who were still alive were all sitting there, and no one spoke.
Their eyes were empty and numb.
In the distance, there was the sound of shelling.
An agent who was sitting there like a puppet just now jumped up suddenly and shouted:
"The little devil is coming up, the little devil is coming up, brothers, kill him!"
His companion dragged him down desperately: "There are no Japs, there really are no Japs."
"oh."
He responded blankly and sat down blankly.
Suddenly, he buried his head and cried bitterly.
Crying like a child.
"These people are really not regular soldiers?"
When they heard this, the surviving villagers in Houjia Village were stunned.
The people who protected them here for three days were actually a group of spies?
Those canine agents who never had a good reputation?
how come? How can it be?
A young man wearing the blood-stained and tattered uniform of a major general of the National Revolutionary Army stood there dumbfounded.
Two women who, despite their dirty looks, could not hide their beauty, were always by his side.
The battalion commander hurriedly ran over: "Sir!"
"I am the director of the Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai Supervision Division of the Military Unification Bureau and the district chief of Shanghai District Meng Shaoyuan!"
"Hello, sir, the staff department was ordered to provide reinforcements, but they are late!"
"Don't say anything, don't say anything." Meng Shaoyuan said in a daze: "I want to ask you one thing, gather the bones of my brothers together, okay?"
"Yes, sir, the staff will execute it immediately!"
The battalion commander was about to leave, but he hesitated and said: "The iron-blooded loyalty and bravery of the commander and the agents of the Military Command Bureau will be remembered by our staff for the rest of our lives!"
After saying that, he respectfully saluted Meng Shaoyuan with a military salute!
