Good guys, three philosophical questions. This makes Guangshu very worried. Why don't you ask me this kind of question?
Why don't you ask Tathagata? He's sitting up there!
But he was just one step away from becoming an acting Buddhist disciple, and he was a big step closer to complete freedom. There was nothing he could do to give up now.
At this point, all we can do is use deception.
Isn't it just philosophy? In Guang Shu's impression, it's just some words that pretend to be profound. As long as others don't understand, what I said makes sense.
In his last life, Guangshu had gone to have his fortune told. After all, he had always lived a miserable life.
But no matter how much money he stuffed, after checking his pulse, the fortune tellers would just shake their heads and say nothing. Some even gave the money back to him, packed up their stalls and ran away.
Do you really want to live a miserable life? With such doubts, Guangshu went to learn hexagrams by himself, just to make a hexagram for himself.
I read a lot of strange books, but I didn’t learn any skills, but I did learn a lot of tricks to deceive people...
But thankfully, it finally came in handy one day.
After coming back to his senses, Guangshu stood up straight, placed his left hand behind his back with his left hand empty, stretched out the index finger of his right hand and kept shaking it in front of him, and muttered something in his mouth:
"Who am I before I am born? Who will I be when I die? The seven emotions and six desires burn my body, and the fetal light disappears completely.
In reincarnation, life and death are inevitable. When you are alive, you dare not face death. The righteous Dharma and the right path point to the right path. It all depends on your own mind and self-grasping.
Without love or hatred, after wasting time, the ethereal soul will see the great light. Relatives, friends and enemies have the same fate, and it will be the same when they come home. "
"Om--" Infinite Buddha light suddenly appeared behind Wu Shi Bodhisattva, and a faintly visible divine ring seemed to become clearer and clearer.
What's going on here? Guangshu almost jumped up in fright, and the Buddhist Golden Body almost activated.
Could it be that he discovered that I was making up nonsense to deceive him? No matter how angry he was, he wouldn't use force directly.
While Guangshu was thinking wildly, Tathagata moved.
"Good." Tathagata pointed at Wushi Bodhisattva with one finger, teleporting him to an unknown place, and then announced to the monks:
"The competition is over. Guangshu will act as the agent of the Buddha to complete the search for the Buddha. Do you have any objections?"
None of the eminent monks from the One Hundred and Eight Temples objected or even responded. Many people were still immersed in Guang Shu's answer.
Only Guang Shu hadn't figured out the situation yet, so he could only turn to Abbot Shengding for help.
But Abbot Shengding was still thinking about Guang Shu's answer and didn't pay attention to this.
"Yes," Tathagata's message answered Guangshu's doubts, "Guangshu, I really did not misjudge the person. This answer made Wu Shi suddenly realize.
Even I have some insights. You were born to be a Buddhist! "
Guangshu could only laugh after hearing this, thinking in his heart:
No, I fooled him into having an epiphany.
What kind of born Buddha? Does this mean that I was born to be a monk? You were born to be a monk! Guangshu couldn't help but curse.
It seems that Tathagata is indeed born...
After another stick of incense, the monks slowly came to their senses and apologized to Tathagata and Nan. After all, they had questioned the Buddha's choice in the beginning.
It seems that everyone has wrongly blamed Buddha. Buddha had his own reasons for choosing people, but we, the disciples, still overstepped our bounds.
Tathagata naturally didn't care, shook his head slightly and continued:
"The selection of the acting Buddha disciple has been completed, you can go back on your own.
However, the matter of acting as a Buddhist disciple must not be spread to outsiders to prevent evil sects from unscrupulous means.
Only when the Buddha officially returns to his throne can the Buddhist sect hold a ceremony to declare to the world. "
After everyone dispersed, Tathagata left Guangshu alone.
He took out a bronze mirror from his sleeve and handed it to Guang Shu.
"Is this the boundless glazed mirror? Why is it so old and rusty?" Guang Shu said very strangely.
"The so-called wealth is not revealed in vain. You have to look at it every day to look for Maitreya. I'm afraid that you will be stolen and a little old-fashioned." Tathagata said, stroking his palm.
Apparently, after being imprisoned in the mountain for fifteen years, Tathagata believed that Guangshu was still a little kid who didn't know much about the world. He wanted to keep him here not only to give him treasures, but also to teach him some experiences of traveling outside.
Sure enough, Tathagata took Guangshu and started a long talk, telling a lot of rules and experiences in the world of cultivating immortals.
Guang Shu scoffed at it at first, but the more he listened, the more he learned. After all, no matter how much he had seen in his previous life, what he saw in this life was a completely new world.
"Now that you have cultivated to the realm of overcoming tribulation, I will tell you the realm that follows.
Above you is the Mahayana. The world calls it the Mahayana True Immortal, and our Buddhism calls it the Buddha of All Living Beings.
Above that are the Celestial Immortals (immortal kings) and the Supreme Immortals (immortal kings). They respectively correspond to the Buddhas of the Three Realms and the Infinite Buddhas we teach.
Finally, there is the legendary realm of the Immortal Emperor. The Immortal King can already stand on the top of the world, but the Immortal Emperor has not appeared for 300,000 years.
Everyone said that the Immortal Emperor was not tolerated by heaven and earth, so he could not be born.
But in the realm of the Immortal King, one can leave the realm of immortals and Buddhas and travel outside the universe.
I hope that in the future you can find the real reason why the Immortal Emperor cannot appear, and find a way for future generations.
otherwise……"
Otherwise, tell me, what I hate the most is the Riddler!
Guangshu listened fascinated, but the words were still in his heart before he could say them out.
Then he saw Tathagata wave his sleeves and he was sent away. When he reacted, he was back in his own yard.
Guangshu took out the infinite glazed mirror from his arms and looked at it carefully again. He couldn't make out the word "glazed".
"This mirror can peek into the world and everything. It has infinite power and is the best magic weapon to find things." Recalling Tathagata's introduction,
"Each Buddhist disciple will leave a ray of soul power in this mirror when he is practicing outside, so that the Buddhist disciple can be found at any time.
This should be the case, but after Maitreya was reincarnated and rebuilt, although he was related to his previous life, before awakening the memory of his previous life, even the Infinite Glazed Realm could only find his general location.
Maitreya has been reincarnated for sixteen years. He was unable to be found before he turned eighteen to awaken his memory, and he has nothing to do with his previous life. After time passed, even finding him would be of no use.
The world of immortals and Buddhas is vast, and two years is neither long nor short, so you must seize the time. "
"You want to ask me why I didn't go to him earlier? Reincarnation and rebuilding are to find a new path. If he can't walk out on his own, it means nothing.
These last two years are not only for you, but also for him.
If he succeeds in finding a new path, he will return.
If not, even if you fail to find him after two years, you won't be far away from him.
At that time, I will come and personally help him recall his memory, but by then, it means that Maitreya's reincarnation and reconstruction have completely failed. "
Two years? Although it didn't last long, I was finally able to go down the mountain and have a relatively free time.
With this thought, Guangshu turned around and went back to his room, packed his things, and prepared to run away overnight.
It was said that he wanted to take away the guys, but Guang Shu came here empty-handed, so naturally he didn't have many guys to take away.
Guangshu used Sumeru Mustard Seed, collected a few changes of clothes, and left the yard at the third watch of the night, preparing to go down the mountain.
Just when he locked the door and was about to turn around, a soft voice stopped him: "Guang Shu, are you leaving now?"
This voice was very familiar to Guangshu. He knew who it was without turning his head. Yaoling Bodhisattva was here.
