Since Ji Wushuang came to this world, he has been trying to use his knowledge of the three worlds to analyze the essence of cultivation.

The way to achieve foundation building is the way of refining Qi.

Then why does it count as refining qi?

From a scientific point of view, it is to structure the Dantian and the meridians in the body to form a Qi circulation system, allowing Qi to flow in the meridians and achieve a state of being taken and used at any time.

So what is Qi, and how do the meridians work? For Tao, what is the Taoist understanding of Tao producing one, producing two, two producing three, and three producing all things?

Ji Wushuang believes that Tao is the point of chaos. It is similar to the point where the universe exploded.

There are two in one life, that is, chaos produces yin and yang, which is exactly what is called nothing without yin and yang.

Two generates three, and this three is the link between yin and yang, that is, "qi", which is a medium for material transformation and communication. With this link, yin and yang can transform into all things.

So, what is Tao?

The meaning of "Tao", Ji Wushuang once misappropriated the explanation from the Tao Te Ching during the college entrance examination:

There are things mixed together, born innately on the earth.

The ancient Tao Te Ching is slightly different from this: there are "things" (kun) formed, which are born innately and on earth.

The word "伵" is used wonderfully, vividly describing the mixture of yin and yang. Later versions of the "Tao Te Ching" changed 伵 (kun) to "Hun". Although the explanation is reasonable, the meaning has changed slightly.

This sentence points out: "Tao" is also a kind of "thing".

So what is the nature of "things"?

Ji Wushuang gained new insights after coming to the game. He believes that "things" are formed by the fusion (䶵合) of the illusory "qi" and the physical "qualitative".

Analyzed from the ancient characters of Chinese culture.

The word "炁" comes from "旡" (jì), from "fire".

"旡" in Oracle Bone Inscriptions has the same origin as the word "Qian".

"旡" means the way you hiccup when you are full, and "桡" means the way you hiccup when you are not full.

Adding the word "火" under the word "桡" means that people have energy when they are full.

So to explain, the essence of "Qi" is: "Qi" is an illusory thing. Its performance characteristics are like fire, and it is an energy that maintains the operation of life.

Then let’s look at the other part of “object”, the “quality” of entity.

"Zhi" is written as "quality" in ancient Chinese. From "榦(YIN)", from "贝".

"榦" is composed of double "jin".

The word "jin" in oracle bone inscriptions is formed by the intersection of two "☇" characters (positive and negative).

"☇" is the word "axe" in ancient Chinese, which means axe.

The word "axe" in ancient Chinese comes from "Xin" and "Bu", which means that the ancient people in ancient times tied one end of a wooden stick to a stone chisel to make an axe.

"榦" means the action of using two axes to repeatedly chisel an object into pieces.

And "shell" means shell, which is the oldest currency of mankind.

Judging from the composition of the ancient characters, the meaning of "quality" is the smallest indivisible particle produced by the repeated hammering of the axe.

This tiniest particle is "quality".

When Ji Wushuang studied chemistry in her last life, she learned that atoms refer to basic particles that cannot be divided into chemical reactions. The concept of "quality" in ancient Chinese culture is very close to it, and with this concept, the ancient Chinese were thousands of years ahead of the world at that time.

So explain it:

The composition of "things" is composed of the "qi" of nothingness and the "quality" of the smallest particles.

The same is true for "Tao".

From the perspective of yin and yang, quality belongs to yin and is relatively unchanged; Qi belongs to yang and changes relatively.

This is very similar to the explanation of the nucleus and electrons of an atom.

Just like the substance "light" that I learned in middle school in my previous life, it has wave-particle duality.

This "wave" nature is equivalent to "qi", which changes relatively; while the "grain" nature is equivalent to "quality", which is relatively unchanged.

Therefore, not only humans and all living things, but also the "Dao" and the "Dao of Heaven" are "things" composed of yin and yang.

Just like the Taoist yin-yang fish, there is no absolute yin or absolute yang.

There is yang in yin, and yin in yang. The yang pole produces yin, and the cathode produces yang. This is not a static process, but a dynamic process. This is also the origin and idea of the word "Yi" in the "Book of Changes".

That is to say, all things bear yin and embrace yang.

In this world of game cultivation, Qi refining focuses on "Qi", and body refining focuses on "Quality".

Ji Wushuang's construction of the Heavenly Dao Foundation this time is the way of refining qi, so let's talk about refining qi.

The question then arises, are "Qi" and "Qi" the same?

what differences are there?

In fact, the essence of "Qi" and "Qi" are the same.

Ancient Chinese culture believes that things have a distinction between "body" and "use".

"Qi" is ethereal, elusive, and cannot be intuitively understood, it is "body"; "Qi" is visible and appreciable, it is "use".

Let’s take the analogy of air.

"Qi" is like cold air and hot air. Although people can feel the cold and warm air, they are not visible.

When cold air and hot air meet, clouds are formed, which is the same as the aerosol formed when cold wind blows indoors in winter. This cloud and air can be seen and touched, and this is "qi".

Therefore, "Qi" and "Qi" actually have the same origin, but their manifestations are different.

So how can you refine your Qi and build your foundation? Why is cultivating the Tao called going against heaven?

Ji Wushuang thought about it for more than ten years, and finally used the Qi Training Technique in this world, and after practicing it in person, he finally came to a clear understanding.

Qi refining is to cultivate the movement of "Qi" in the meridians of the human body.

This talks about the meridians of the human body, which are the operation system of "qi".

As we all know, meridians are not physical organs like the heart, lungs, liver, and spleen of the human body. They are fictitious. According to Western anatomy, after dissecting a person, organs such as meridians cannot be found in the human body.

Its nature is the illusory "qi" mentioned before, not the actual "quality".

According to traditional Chinese medicine, the entire meridians of the human body are composed of the "Ziwu Great Zhoutian", the "Maoyou Zhoutian" and the "Chongmai".

"Ziwu Da Zhoutian" is the vein composed of the two meridians of "Rendu".

What ancient Chinese martial arts practitioners called opening up the Ren and Du channels actually meant opening up the "Ziwu Great Zhoutian".

Zi is Yin and Wu is Yang.

"Zi" corresponds to the "Huiyin point" below, and "Wu" corresponds to the "Baihui point" directly above the head.

"Ren Vessel" is the vein of "Yin Qi" that runs from the perineum along the front half of the human body, along the navel, to the chest, and then from the face to Baihui.

"Du Vessel" is the entire meridian of "Yang Qi" from Baihui along the back half of the human body along the spine to the Huiyin point.

This entire closed loop is the "Ziwu Great Zhoutian".

The "Chongmai" is the "cross-cut" surface where the Ren meridian and the Du meridian blend with each other in the human body.

"Maoyou Xiao Zhoutian", "Mao" corresponds to the Mingmen at the lower back, and "You" corresponds to the navel, which is the Shenque point.

The surface of this closed loop that extends horizontally from the Mingmen point to the navel on both sides is the "Maoyou Xiao Zhoutian", which is also the "pulse pulse".

So what is the so-called Dantian in Qi refining? In what part of the human body is it? How are the meridians "Ren Meridian" and "Du Meridian" formed? What is the basis for this?

The so-called "Dan Tian" in Qi refining is the lower Dan Tian.

It is the source of all veins and the entrance to the ancestral orifice.

Therefore, refining qi starts from the lower Dantian.

Just like "Qi", Dantian is emptiness. It is not a physical organ of the human body and cannot be found in anatomy.

So where is it in the human body? How did it come about?

In fact, "Xiadantian" is also the "in the cell", which is the end point of the umbilical cord in the fetus.

The location is where the line connecting the Baihui on the top of the human body to the perineum intersects with the cross-section of the "Maoyou Zhoutian" with veins.

That is, three fingers inward from the human belly button.

To talk about the composition of meridians and Dantian, we have to start from the beginning of the growth of the human body from the fetus.

Ji Wushuang learned it when she was in middle school in her previous life.

The fetus is derived from the division of a fertilized egg.

The fertilized egg is formed by the intersection of sperm and egg, which is what Taoism calls the chaotic "one".

After they interact with each other, they will activate the innate "Qi" and begin to split under the catalysis of "Qi".

Two cells are generated: an egg cell, which is dominated by the "Yin Qi" of the egg nucleus, and a sperm cell, which is dominated by the "Yang Qi" of the sperm nucleus, which is "two cells in one life".

In the later stage, the egg cells will turn into the placenta, and the sperm cells will turn into the fetus.

And the link between them, the umbilical cord, is also "three".

The explanation for the birth of the fetus is that the sperm cells, as the "yang energy", continuously absorb the "yin energy" of the egg cells through the umbilical cord, and then transport the "yang energy" to the egg placenta, achieving an innate balance of yin and yang in the mother's body. , thus the process of ripening and birth.

When a baby is born, the Qi contained in this point in the cell is absorbed by various parts of the human body and disappears.

The Qi in the cells disperses into the five internal organs, the eight extra meridians, and becomes a form that is both invisible and dispersed. It becomes an invisible, elusive, and insensible existence. This is Dantian, and it is this Qi that catalyzes the fetus. growth.

From an anatomical point of view, the umbilical cord is composed of one umbilical vein and two umbilical arteries.

The egg cells that turn into the placenta need to export "Yin Qi" to the sperm cells, which is transmitted through this umbilical vein.

The "yang energy" of fetal sperm cells is transmitted into the placenta through two umbilical arteries.

At the beginning of the growth of the fetus, the "Yin Qi" in the egg cell ascends from the Dantian in the "cell" to the head nucleus of the highest sperm cell, which is the Yangyang in the "Upper Dantian".

It also generates the flesh, blood and meridians of the first half of the human body, which is the "Ren meridian".

The essence core of Yuan Yang absorbs "Yin Qi", and sends out "Yang Qi" from the back of the head along the back, to Mingmen and perineum, and is input into the umbilical artery and returned to the placenta, forming the second half of flesh and blood. The meridian is also the "Governor Meridian".

The Du Vessel divides into two branches from the Ming Gate, embracing the left and right branches and connecting the two umbilical arteries of the umbilical cord. The veins surrounding the Dantian on the left and right are the Maoyou Zhoutian "belt pulse" in the human body.

In the human body, the point where the "Ren Meridian" and the "Du Meridian" meet front and back is called the "Chong Meridian".

If you want to express it vividly, take the earth as an example.

The two meridians of Ren and Du can be seen as the front and back spheres of the earth.

The human body goes straight from Baihui to the middle Dantian between the chest, and then down to the lower Dantian. This straight line is like the axis of the earth; the belt channel is like the equator; the Dantian is the center of the earth where the earth's axis and the equatorial plane meet; and the Chongmai is like A vertical section of the earth cut vertically according to the meridian circle.

The meridian system of the human body is composed of the Ziwu Great Zhoutian, which is a closed loop of the Ren and Du meridians, which are the front yin and the back yang. Zhoutian, plus the Dantian three-dimensional structure.

Therefore, the human body has its own world.

When the fetus grows in the mother's innate universe, it is also preparing for the acquired universe.

A pumping station is formed in the middle Dantian, which is embodied as the heart. Its function is to supply "Yin Qi" to the upper Dantian of "Yuan Yang" more quickly.

And generate organs such as mouth, nose, stomach, intestines. It is convenient that after the fetus is born and enters the acquired universe, it can continue to consume "Yin Qi" to maintain growth.

When a fetus is born, the process of achieving a balance of yin and yang in the mother's body is called the innate universe, and after birth it is called the acquired universe.

After the fetus is born and enters the acquired universe, the innate balance is also broken.

In order to maintain the balance of yin and yang, the human body continues to consume "yin qi". Along the Ren Meridian to the Upper Dantian, the "Yang Qi" is discharged from the Upper Dantian. This "Qing Yang Qi" descends from the Du Meridian on the back to the intestines and kidneys, where it turns into turbid Yang and is excreted from the body.

After the human body reaches adulthood, it reaches a balance in the acquired universe. Unfortunately, this balance does not last long.

However, people still need to continue to take in energy through the mouth and nose. These energy "yin qi" will continue to move up the gastrointestinal tract and lungs, and the upper dantian will continue to discharge "yang qi". When the "yang qi" in the upper dantian is completely replaced by "yin qi" When the yin is full and the yang disappears, the person will die.

This mechanism is: the human body's yin energy flows upward along the Ren meridian, and the discharged yang energy flows downward along the Du meridian.

Things are input from the mouth and nose of a person, and yin qi is generated in the inner abdomen. It goes up from the Ren channel to the top, replacing yang qi. One part goes down along the Chong meridian, and the other part goes down along the Du meridian, and is excreted from the body through the intestines and kidneys, forming a closed loop under the natural system.

Refining Qi! It’s about reversing this natural process.

It is an opportunity to go against heaven and seize heaven and earth.

How to achieve it.

The monk incorporates the spiritual power of the spirit stone into the Dantian in the cell, and the spiritual power turns into Yang Qi.

Part of them consists of a yang meridian system that is mainly input from the lower part of the back into the Du meridian. Originally, this system discharged the yang qi of Yuanyang from top to bottom, but now it is reversed, and the yang qi goes up against the trend to the upper Dantian; The other part goes up along the Chong meridians, from the middle Dantian to the upper Dantian. Both parts are "Yang Qi" ascending.

When the upper Dantian is reached to replenish Yuanyang, the "Yin Qi" is replaced and goes down along the Ren channel in front, and then is incorporated into the Dantian. These Yin Qi continue to generate "Yang Qi" under the catalysis of spiritual power, forming a reversal closed loop.

Qi refining means that the original yin rises and yang falls, and the yang qi in the Dantian is consumed to replenish yin qi. It is reversed to yang rising and yin falls, and yin qi is consumed to continue to replenish yang qi.

Therefore, refining qi and cultivating the Tao is also called the Tao of defying heaven.
