Dear friends, it has been more than a month since the new book set sail, and it will finally be on the shelves tomorrow, Thursday.
Pirate Kingship is Whale's fourth book (aka: Conqueror at the Mast).
The first fantasy book is a high-quality product, with an order of 4,500 each; the second science fiction book covers the Laniakea super galaxy cluster in one go. The background is too big and it is glorious.
The third book of Xian Xia is a great masterpiece, with an average order of 6,200 upon completion.
In the fourth book, I started writing fantasy, again with a nautical theme, but from a different perspective, starting from pirates.
Many big guys have noticed it, and it was inspired by the War of the Red and White Roses in British history, which is also the story prototype of "Game of Thrones".
But there is no palace intrigue. Giant ships, cannons, treasures, fine wine, and the unknown world are the true romance of pirates.
The outline of this book was formed together with the previous book "The Fruit of Killing". It was originally conceived as a story that took place in the East and the West under similar backgrounds.
The timeline should be this one at the front and the previous one at the back.
The various materials prepared are quite sufficient, including sailing battleships, European swordsmanship, various black magic, history through geography, Viking pirates, pirate legends, Norse mythology...
I haven’t counted the exact number of physical books I bought, but there are probably four or five stacks.
There was also a lot of preparation before starting the book. Not counting the more than 100 pages of navigation knowledge notes, the outline, setting collection, and story line totaled 200,000 words.
The two months since I finished the last book have been pretty busy.
The main purpose is to create a sailing story that combines real background, epic legend and fantasy elements.
Because many book friends have previously reported that the biggest problem in fantasy is the inability to remember people’s names, we also specially designed the power system of [Title].
Every relatively important supporting role has its own [title] or nickname, and I don’t know what the specific effect is.
In short, Little Trumpet, New Book Recommendation, and Sanjiang. After eating all the recommendations, I came to the second place on the new book list. I want to thank every reader who supports me.
Kneel down and thank you! orz
Your support is the inexhaustible motivation for Whale to write every book seriously.
I would also like to thank my chief editor Dragonfly and editor Jiang Cha for giving me a lot of valuable advice.
Of course, I am also a loyal "confidant" to the Qidian Ten Group (laughs).
It will be released tomorrow at 12:05 noon on Thursday. Four chapters will be updated in a row. Please support! orz
